Great! (Not really). Thanks! (Not really). They brought MLB back to the TV this season, but not really.

Apparently, they think it’s okay for a sports bar to play karaoke over an Astros game.

The game was on the side TV’s. Per the manager, it being a Friday meant no one was interested in baseball, and 30 of the regulars (most men over 40) wanted to hear karaoke rather than watch baseball like the had been coming there for the past 25 years. Who knew karaoke was so good? (Hint: nobody)

Woodies is no longer a neighborhood sports bar, they’re turning it into a fufu bar for date nights.

Bad experience with service. Just trying to get a couple drinks with friends, but the bartender, the short female with black or brunette hair, thinks it’s funny to let her friends show up after us and shove us out of the way as well as shove a chair at us in order to try and get their drinks first. She’ll then look at you smile/giggle awkwardly and proceed to take their order and not say anything to them or make a single remark of what they did. Then proceed to still take our order and pretend like nothing happened or apologize for her friends actions. Is it a big deal? No. Does she still expect to get tipped for her service? Yes. Busy or not it’s kind of concerning if you have somebody bartending there that’ll kick back with those friends and other bartenders that will just let it happen to new customers. 👎🏻

We stopped in for drinks and had a good time. The place has that small town bar vibe. Betty the bartender is awesome. My wife had a margarita and said it was one of the best she's ever had. Yes they have personal flat bread pizzas for $6 that are delicious. Betty makes them herself. The pic says $8 but they're $6. We'll worth it. Highly recommend this place.

Bartender picks and chooses who to ID. If you’re going to ID me make sure to do the same to everyone.

I cant believe the way i was treated at this bar, the bartender tonight on 8/17 was really rude to me and my family when we went in for a shot and didnt leave a tip because her attitude was not good since we got there and once she saw we didnt leave a tip for a round of shots she told us to leave after we were done and i think thats incredible unprofessional. 0/10 experience, we are super shocked on how we were treated never have i ever been treated that way especially trying to celebrate my brothers birthday, maybe try and hire more positive people !!! Some corporate sludge head decided they don’t want to show MLB network games here anymore.

Can you imagine a someplace claiming to be a sports bar not showing MLB games?

Not a neighborhood sports bar here. If that’s what you want, go someplace else.

Standard bar with TV’s, hence the sports bit, and one friendly bartender. Little to no bar food, though.

Long time ago, corporate cancelled food and took the place down a notch.

Now they’ve cancelled baseball. They’re not willing to buy the MLB packages. Instead we watch sports news with no sound.

They don’t have any TV beyond free (except for Shark Week, which they force you to watch if you’re in the room).

Great Dive Bar Feel

Old school, hole in the wall bar with a bunch of TVs all geared towards sports.

caught two of the older women over charging for drinks on separate occasions. I used to spend a shitload of money in this place. Now if I'm desperate enough to come through after local store hours, I'll only order a beer then I'm out haha

I recently spent an evening at Little Woodrow's in Bellaire for the first time, and it was a blast! The place has a great atmosphere—perfect for relaxing with friends, watching a game, or just unwinding with a cold drink on the patio. But what truly made my night memorable was the fantastic service, especially from Betty, the bartender.

Betty has a real gift for making every customer feel welcome. She was quick with the drinks, incredibly attentive, and seemed to know exactly what everyone needed before we even asked! Her positive energy and warm personality make you feel like you're among friends, even if it's your first time there. Plus, she can make a mean cocktail! If you go to Little Woodrow's in Bellaire, be sure to sit at the bar and say hi to Betty—you won’t be disappointed!

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a fun, laid-back evening with excellent service. Betty and the team will take great care of you! The manager is very welcoming and keeps the place super tidy ! As a lady who frequents many bars the bathroom is extremely clean ! If you're a professional needing a lowkey place to wind down this is it & it's the 1st location! The rating for the food was fair bc I havent ate here yet !
