I love the food always hot and fresh tasting. Service is a little slow at times, but this is not a complaint. I would rather wait a little than to have cold food. The service is always pleasant, though. Keep up the good work, and I will always eat here. I just wish there were more locations. This is my complaint. ?❤️

This place was horrible. Employees there don't wanna work there. This shows on their customer service and friendliness which is subpar. When you order a meal, you have to choose fries or hushpuppies and pay extra to get the other. My local LGS gives you both in the meal. Food here was ok, but atmosphere in kitchen looks like a prison. Not spending my hard earned money on this establishment ever again!

Used to go to LJS as a kid and every now and again I come back to eat some fish. I wasn’t really pleased with the visit and don’t think I’d go back. I came in at dinner time to break my fast for Ramadan and somehow waited almost 20 minutes for a fish and shrimp platter. This wasn’t even on a Friday. There was one guy who ordered before me, and another patron who came after me also received their order before mine. Not many people in the drive thru either. My expectations are very low for a fast food restaurant, but 20 minutes? Come on now. If I was in the drive thru, I’m sure they would be hustling to get it out. When I confronted the store workers, they said they forgot about me and thought I already picked up my order. Might be nice in hindsight, but when there isn’t much orders going on, it seems careless. There’s a lot more options in Houston than LJS. With the amount of grease and bread, don’t indulge just to feel sick. Get out of dodge and get some real food, especially for ~$16.50 with a drink.

Fish and shrimp tastes good. Better than I anticipated. A bit more breading but taste good. Coleslaw, fries and hushpuppies taste good and fresh. I find a place to go every time I am craving fish and chips.

The employees are super rude, don't really acknowledge you when you walk in. I ordered online and I was missing a side, received a questionable piece of chicken, shrimp was over salted, and the hush puppies were more oil than anything. The location in Humble is 10x better, go to that
This is my 3rd or 4th time visiting from inner-city Houston. The service is great and the food is delicious! Not sure why it’s getting so much 1 star reviews. As long as they’re wearing gloves, the uncooked food is kept cold, and the grease is being changed, I have no issues. We only have very few LJS left. We must keep them uplifted rather than dragging their name through the mud over minor events. Pick and choose your battles. lol
