Ordering their brisket and a side of coconut rice is a must! They have plenty of choices on their menu to accommodate a variety of palates. I've tried several items on their menu and have not been disappointed. You order and pay at the bar, and it's generally open seating unless it's packed. The wait isn't too bad and they have a nice outdoor area where you can sit and wait.Parking: They have a small free parking lot. There is a paid parking lot across the street, free street parking, and valet options.
The beef ribs are fantastic and the ginger dipping sauce is a perfect accompaniment. I could eat those all day. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service was very friendly. I’ve told all of my coworkers and some of my clients. Be back soon ?

Love the laid back vibe and beautiful building (former church) Loro is located in. We love the hushpuppies and rancher steak but the crispy potatoes, noodles, chicken rice bowl, and chickeb karaage are our favorites. The pickled cabbage compliments the curry chicken bowl so well it is sublime - add the sauce and rice and you’ll keep coming for this dish alone. The crispy potatoes are perfect and the sauce amazing. The noodles are refreshing as they are served cold but pack a punch with a delicious chili oil sauce - the green onions add great crisp but I think some peanuts might be a nice addition. The chicken karaage is crispy and the sauce perfectly balanced. I can’t wait for Loro to make it’s way all around Houston - hopefully they make it up to Cypress some day!

The Mrs picked Loro for my birthday dinner and it was LEGIT??Started with the yuzu spritzer from the bar plus the pork tostadas and chicken wings from the Happy Hour menu. A solid start! Those chicken wings were the stuff of dreams!?For our mains I got the durock pork spare ribs and the Mrs got the smoked crispy chicken sandwich... and we split the papaya salad and crispy potatoes. Talk about NEXT LEVEL... the ribs were just NAUGHTY!?Legitimately the best meal we've had since arriving into Texas in early January 2024.

I legit want to try everything on this menu. I have been twice already but didn’t take photos the first time. Got distracted the food was so good. Had the salmon dip appetizer and the smoked wings. Amazing. The crispy chicken sandwich was good. My most recent visit we had curry marinated shrimp bowl and smoked brisket bowl as well as sesame noodles. Everything was delicious. Their brisket was tender and flavorful and the shrimp was so good ! I have been telling everyone about this place. I will be back!
We came here for brunch on a Saturday. The style of the restaurant is to go up to the bar, place orders and pay. . I had the tall guy with beard and glasses who took our order. He was rude to us just because I said something that interrupted him repeating the order. And he kept scolding us for “if your food came out wrong , it’s your fault not mine. Do you want to hear your order or not ? “ I almost want to just cancel the order and walk out if it wasn’t because I brought my 90 year father with us. Food was great , servers were courteous. It just left a bad taste in my mouth after dealing with the guy who took the order.

Had the brisket, salmon, cucumber, and potatoes. So good and so full! Also had a Margarita and their rift on a whiskey sour. Treated to their fried chicken, cabbage salad, and the key lime pie. So lovely and yummy. The key lime pie was the perfect ending to the meal.Dietary restrictions: We had a gluten sensitive member, and they were very accommodating.
I love Loro! We’ve been a few times since it opened a couple years ago and it’s been wonderful each time. The food is very flavorful and interesting - you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Their drinks are fabulous. It’s counter service but the atmosphere and food quality elevate the experience. Perfect for a date night, dinner with friends, casual meal, etc. A bit on the pricier side but worth it for the quality IMO.Dietary restrictions: The menu is quite diverse, plenty of options for people with allergies to dairy, gluten, etc.

Four stars for lousy parking, but that’s pretty much almost all of The Heights area. This parking is teeny tiny. There is valet or you can risk parking on the streets. Service great, drinks great.Parking: Horrible parking spot. Extremely teeny tiny and tight. Plus, one car looked broke into since glass was everywhere.
