If you know then you know, tacos are excellent, I had the chicharrón with egg and bean taco, mmmmm that has been the best taco I've had in a long while. Chicharrón was not to soft and not hard, perfectly made. Definitely will be back soon!!

Been going to this place since the 80s. They did not have a dine in thenI remember a small window you would knock and the owner would sell you the carne Seca. Last time I went was 2 years ago my mother loved going there for the coffee and the machacada a la mexicana and to just talk to one of the ladies there I believe the owners wife. We would go on Saturdays to try different breakfast but always got the same. Mom is gone now but she would say this is the best real Mexican food all homemade. I think I will go and have a cup of coffee and huevos rancheros with machacada a la mexicana in honor of mom. Besides I always buy a bag of machacada for home. Service is great the owners and their son very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Kid-friendliness: Last time I took my grandson and they were so friendly to him who loves to move well he's better now. Grown up.

Family owned taqueria where you can get anything from breakfast tacos to machacado/dried beef by the lb. The chubby son is pretty handsome. Just saying.

Parking: Not enough parking? Go around the block they have parking in rear of building. Cameras too just in case

This place is a hidden gem. Its the only place outside of Nuevo Leon where I have had good carne seca. The aporreado is the best dish on the menu, you won’t find it anywhere else in Houston. I drive from Sugarland to this place on weekends whenever I can.

This true authentic carne seca. Yours is a cheap American. All Mexican restaurant in Houston, the food is no good food taste awful. Cooks ain't cooks. So I eat mex.food at home only and eat soul food when I go out. Arandas, Jaliscano# 1,2,3, 4, etc. Gringos, and to top it off service is bad , but, the girls want there tip. I have expanded my search to 30 mile radius still nothing worth going back to. Houston Mexican food is the worst. God Bless you all do provide work this good.?
