I met some friends for lunch here last week. Inside it's decoratively attractive and looks like some Los Cucos restaurants around Houston. In fact, I was told they are related. The chips and red salsa (served cool) were ok taste wise and I gave them a 3. I ordered the combo beef and chicken fajitas with homemade corn tortillas for about $20 on the lunch menu. This meal was average at best. Neither the beef or chicken stood out and the platter had very little onions and bell peppers on it. The corn tortillas were large and the borracho beans were average taste wise. I saw nothing from my visit that would make me want to return and noticed that the lunch crowd was very lite that day so I'm not sure how popular this place is. My meal was more of a 2 than a 3 but I will round up because a couple of others in our party enjoyed their meal.

Came across this Mexican Cafe the food was delicious. I have the skinny avocado great flavor. The micheladas were awesome loved all the food and drinks. Waiter could have been more attentive. Overall good experience.

Had a crazy experience. We have a table of twenty, the manager gives us ONE server for all twenty of us. The restaurant is mostly empty, the other servers (of which there were five) must have had two normal sized table AT MOST. But we have one kid just out of high school, completely overwhelmed and beyond his depth. He hardly checked on us, took an hour to take our order, took another hour after eating just to get our checks. The kitchen was reasonably fast, water service was attentive, food was pretty mid but not bad. I don't even blame the server, he was just a kid. But completely overwhelmed. I blame the manager completely. She stood around and did nothing while this guy took forever to serve us. I presume she knows how to write things on a notepad? Run a credit card? Inexcusable. Not worth going to until things change at the top.

I frequent this Mexican Cafe for their vegetable quesadilla dish, and it is always prepared so well. The atmosphere is congenial and pleasant. The services were excellent.Vegetarian options: I love their vegetable quesadilla and spinach quesadilla dishes. It is very meticulously flavored and prepared. Their tortilla chips and green sauce and salsa are also great appetizers.
