Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken

I hate to be hard on a place, but I want to be honest. The long and short of it is this: the chicken is great. The restaurant is not. It’s dirty and not somewhere I would go in and sit down. It was pretty slow and understaffed; but that being said - just go through the drive-thru. The lady that waited on us was kind and was very busy - and the food was hot & fresh. It was a great everyday special - $5.99 for a 2 piece box with crinkle cut fries that were VERY GOOD.

Poorly maintained place with no working bathroom and sticky/slippery floors. Also a bit shady. But the staff was great and friendly. Food is halal but is very underseasoned - both the chicken and sides. Good staff, but wouldnt really visit again.

Ordered 10 pc family meal and they didn’t give me any of the sides I ordered. Literally just 10 pieces of greasy chicken.

so good but I've noticed that the food taste different when I go in the drive-through versus coming inside, I don't know it's more seasoned when I come inside either way I always get the fish chicken combo with the sides and it's always cooked pretty fresh. The sides could honestly be better than not that great butthey're always nice

The food portions are excellent, the dishes are large if they take a little time but it is hot food that is grilled when you order it, many thanks to the staff

Not only does it sit in the worst part of downtown but the owner apparently does not use gloves or hairnet and would run his hands through his and then continue serving and the kitchen looked dirty. Never eating here again

Super friendly family-owned business! The staff was really considerate and patient with everyone. The fish po'boy was a GREAT decision! Quite a yummy lunch!

Service here is super poor I stood waiting for them to take my order for 10min and not one person came. I'm not standing there for nothing apparently but never again will this company get any on my money if this is what they call service.

Shrimp was ok but red beans and rice taste like bullshit no flavor or seasoning just plain and that's not even real red bean just no flavor pure fake never will get that again

This location is not particularly good. There was a person outside in the limited parking area asking if I wanted to buy candy. Nevertheless, the food was horrible, and the chicken was fried extremely hard and had been sitting there for a while. This was my first time visiting this place, and it will be the last.
