UPDATE:We have now been back two times since our poor post-pandemic experience. We had a wonderful experience and delicious, hot, fresh food each time. Everyone there has been kind and thoughtful. I am so happy they found their way back, and I highly recommend them to everyone.PREVIOUS REVIEW:Loving Hut used to be my favorite restaurant in Houston. The server was super friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious, the portions were large enough to share, and the restaurant had a nice vibe. When we went yesterday for lunch, though, it wasn’t at all what it was pre-covid. They did not have half the dishes we ordered, the portion sizes were greatly reduced, they forgot one of our orders and then claimed we never ordered it. When I showed proof of the order, they refunded our money, but did not explain or apologize for the error. It seems they now only carry pre-made food items like breaded soy patties, french fries, etc. Those who had the Happy Crispy Burger said it was tasty, but whatever they used in the Spicy Cha Cha was just fried and flavorless. The Lovepucinos were very good. Sadly, I can no longer recommend Loving Hut in Houston.

A solid spot to get vegan food. Not a trendy place, but a good place to go for dedicated vegans, or people trying out resolutions. There's options for people who don't like Asian food as well. The menu concentrates on the vegan aspect, so if you have other allergies be careful.Vegetarian options: A full vegan menu.Dietary restrictions: Nuts and gluten may be present, and plenty of soy, so be carefulParking: Strip mall parking and not very busy
You’re not greeted in any way upon walking in. Even as I stood at the counter, no greeting. I would NEVER spend my money at a place like this and I will NEVER be back.
We are big fans of Loving Hut but sadly the place was closed for a weke over New Years. So missed dining here but the menu looked really good, and their cause for vegan / vegetarian food is worthy.

Drove 30 min to try this place got there 45 min before close and it was closed. All online sites said open. Sign on the doors said close at 6pm. I would. all before going. Did not have time and gas to waste!
