Every time I visit Houston since my youngest attends UH I come here. Food is fresh and hot. Employees are friendly and very neat looking. Atmosphere is wonderful busy but not noisy. I really enjoy coming to this location.

Their air conditioning was not working. It was disgustingly hot. I was sweating like I had gone running. I will never return. I told the server that it was hot as hell , while I was sweating profusely and she said: “you think so?”. Pissed me off. I had to leave before I was finished so that I could go out to my car and get cooled off. I could have gone to many other restaurants but I chose this one. Lucy’s violated my trust. I had trusted Luby’s to have an air conditioned environment but instead I was made to sweat like I was in a sauna. The don’t keep the lemon slices on the line, you have to wait for your server to bring you lemon slices. How cheap is that? Furthermore they ration toothpicks. Most restaurants have a toothpick dispenser but not this one. Nooo. You have to ask someone for toothpicks. How freaking cheap is that? I am not ever returning, there are too many other options.
