This is my second visit to Luce Coffee Roasters. My first experience was great, the staff was friendly and the coffee left a good impression, which made me want to return for another try.

This time I ordered the Island Latte, the subtle smokiness from the charcoal adds an interesting depth to the drink. The quality of the coffee itself remains solid. However, the service this time was disappointing. The cashier was noticeably warmer and more attentive to the customer in front of me, but when it was my turn to order, her tone and attitude changed. It’s unfortunate to see such inconsistency in customer service, as it can really impact the overall experience.

While the drinks here are innovative and worth trying, I hope the staff can maintain a welcoming attitude for all customers. Good coffee should be paired with good service.

I asked about their matcha before ordering and the cashier seemed kinda passive aggressive. I asked what brand they use to which he didn’t know then told me it came pre sweetened. Then he proceeded to say “you must not drink a lot of matcha” which came off a bit rude, I was just curious. I proceeded to give it a try and it was the worst matcha I’ve ever tasted!!! Every sip tasted like straight syrup not to mention it was all clumpy at the bottom😣. Oh well guess I know to stick to the coffee if I come here

NO cause I ordered a single shot of espresso with caramel and just a splash of hot oat milk, and was charged $6 for it—seems a bit steep! I was also charged for both the oat milk and flavor, which I wasn’t expecting. The drink wasn’t sweet enough, so I had to return it. I’d understand the price if I had ordered a latte, but for such a small cup, this felt UNREASONABLE!!!

Parking: Several spots in front of the business were reserved for the businesses next door. I got there as someone was pulling out from one of their reserved spots.

I think I have en ethical problem with an establishment like this purposefully adding a lot of ice to iced coffee drinks be default, leaving me with half a container of coffee if I remove all the ice.

If I request to add no ice, they purposefully fill my drink container up to 75% like they already aren’t making around or close to 100% profit off of the espresso and milk they use. The cheapest drink here will set you back $7-$8 so why be cheap on filling it up all the way?

I stopped by for a coffee upon my friend's suggestion. There were 3 staff working and there was no greeting or smiling face. My drink was prepared carelessly and I did not like the taste.

I just wanted to share my brief experience with this location this morning… When I walked in I wasn’t greeted by either of the two barista‘s… I was just simply looked at. I didn’t think anything of it and I proceeded to wait to order and whenever it was my turn, the lady just said “yes” and I was prompted to order.. I felt super uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I honestly was very close to just leaving and I also couldn’t help but notice that three other guests walked in before I began to order and they were both greeted very welcoming. I’m not sure what the discrepancy is between myself and other guests. I would hope it’s not a racial thing as that was the only difference. I just feel like all guests should be treated fairly warmly welcomed when entering any establishment.

Can’t comment on the food, never had it. But I do enjoy the coffee. It’s an intimate space, but normally is busy with typically 3 employees on a typical day. Parking can be tricky depending on how busy it is. Coffee can be as expensive as Starbucks. They have a rewards program whereas after your 10th coffee purchase, you’ll get the next one free! It’s a good deal.

Had a medical appointment in the area and needed a place to post up for a few hours of remote work. First note: this place is not the sleek, modern venue implied by the photo, but is a bit shabbier than I'd been expecting. The coffee, however, was delicious, and there were ample outlets to plug in and get work done. Wi-Fi was fast enough to keep up with me. I'd go back without hesitation if an appointment brought me to the area again.

Received a cold espresso and asked if I could have another one as there wasn’t any crème on top and was told ‘we don’t usually remake drinks’ …?!

This is my first time at this coffee shop. The young lady at the register was very helpful but, I ordered a Soft Caramel blend coffee and it tasted like milk and ice. I initially ordered it half sweet. It was remade to full sweet and it still tastes that milk and ice with a smidge of caramel. The music is nice. The male worker on shift, may be the manager was a bit smug about why the drink was in my opinion disgusting. I ended up drinking a cup of water and charging my phone. It wasn’t what he said when explaining the drink it was how. Slightly raised voice, short, and curt. There are other items on the menu that could be great, but this ruined my experience with this chain. The young lady that initially helped me was kind, polite, and patient so, she is a 5 star person.

The baristas acted like I was speaking an unknown language when I requested something unorthodox (but totally doable and easy). It was clarified, but then I somehow got the opposite of what I'd asked for. Maybe it was an honest mistake anyone could have made, but still. Money wasted

Protip: if someone is bothered enough to email with feedback online, they should probably get a free drink.
