I was in the mood to try a new coffee establishment. I blindly ordered Luce Coffee Roaster’s Signature, hot coffee. I have to say, it was AMAZING! I ordered it with real sugar and whole milk. I will definitely be ordering it again! … :-)
Luce is a coffee shop that leaves you with an impressionable drink. That coffee is the Spanish Latte with 4 shots of espresso.

Today was my first time placing a pickup order at this location. I followed the sign in the store that said Pickup Here and approached the counter. I politely asked the employee in the green hat if this was where I should collect my order. Unfortunately, her response was extremely rude and unprofessional.I understand that the staff may have been busy, and I acknowledge that I was standing in the wrong place since it was my first time. I also understand that the within the current climate a lot of people don’t feel like they should respect people that look like me, but this was totally uncalled for. Rather than offering guidance, she immediately responded with annoyance and aggression, leaving me completely taken aback. I have always enjoyed coming here, but this experience has made me reconsider returning. This situation was completely unnecessary and could have been handled with basic courtesy. For first-time customers: although the website instructs you to go to the pickup sign at the back, you actually need to go to the main counter to avoid confusion

The espresso here was really good. I got an iced mocha and typically expect it to not be great. This one was really good.
We came early afternoon and was kinda disappointed they didn't have any drip coffee still. I did get a breakfast taco and pastry. Not bad. The taco do go pretty quickly. I almost got some fresh coffee beans but I had a new bag at home so l opted to not. I am considering getting some beans shipped to me.

Staff were rude and unwelcoming. Kinda a newbie to coffee and I had questions but the girls made me feel uncomfortable asking and had a condescending tone

Really great coffee. Tasty, toasty, low acid.
Service is what I’d describe as a gentle politeness.
They do offer points with every drink purchase. $7 off something after 10 points.

I asked the barista to make me a black and white mocha and it was one of the best I've had! Thanks again for adjusting to my specific request.

I really like this coffee roaster - good coffee, friendly staff, and upstair seatings. One value added thing is that you can have a cup of good coffee here and then go next door to have a delicous lemongrass bbq pork “banh mi” (LES BA’

Patrick was extremely rude open entering the establishment. Asked if the pastries were for demo purposes and he answered with a smart remark and an attitude.

i find coffee
Luce Coffee Roasters has become a must-stop for me whenever I'm in Houston. I make it a habit to swing by for a coffee and croissant before heading back home to Austin, and it never disappoints. Honestly, it's probably the best coffee I've had in Houston, if not one of the best anywhere. The coffee is consistently excellent, with rich and complex flavors that truly showcase their roasting expertise.
Beyond the exceptional coffee, their croissants are also flaky, buttery perfection – the perfect pairing for a morning pick-me-up. It's clear that they prioritize quality in everything they do, from sourcing their beans to the care they take in brewing each cup. The fact that they're a local business makes me even happier to support them.
I highly recommend Luce Coffee Roasters to anyone looking for a truly exceptional coffee experience in Houston. It's worth going out of your way for. I'm always impressed with the quality and consistency, and I'm definitely rooting for their continued success!

Their croissant sandwiches are really great and I like to get the Spanish Latte, really nice building and cozy. It’s pretty busy in the mornings for good reason!
