Food was Delicious! I was very impressed and given the fact that when I showed up there wasn’t any other customers there( don’t judge a book by its cover) this place surprised me! I loved it , just a chill low key place and thats exactly what I liked ! Super clean dining area.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS!!! My first time trying this type of food. I didn't know what to expect and didn't think I would be too crazy about it but I was very surprised. I had the Pasta with Jerk Chicken add on. Food was great! Will definitely be returning!

The spices in the meat wasn't flavorful and it was dressed with sauce opposed to the taste of the smoke from the pimento wood. There was no smoke coming from outside the back of the building. Rice and peas was a little bland. Service was good and establishment was clean. I lived on the east coast with a large Jamaican population so the food is more authentic due to the density of native Jamaicans. The cream rises to top with Jamaican restaurants.

I have only had experiences with Caribbean food a handful of times. The owner is always super friendly when he's in the restaurant and the staff is always helpful. I hope to one day make it on a karaoke night. I enjoy the patties and get them every time with the dipping sauce.

My wife and I had our first lunch here at Lucian's earlier this week. The Jerk Chicken , Oxtails with rice and beans was very good ... Same goes for their excellent vegetable soup ... which encouraged me to order their Curry Beef & rice to go , for my dinner that night .
All excellent ! ... Layed back atmosphere and very pleasant staff & owners .
We'll certainly be back 👍

This place was completely unassuming. We came here on a Thursday night, right before closing around 9-ish. There was no line, but there seemed to be some dance lessons happening at the front of the dining area, where it looked like there was an entire setup for live music and dancing! Later we found out that they do free public dance nights, how fun!
The customer service was nothing short of amazing, even for a takeout order. We were greeted quickly and they were extremely friendly and provided recommendations for first timers. They also encouraged us to go up front and learn some dance moves!
The food was quite delicious! The jerk chicken was tender, and had a punch. I feel like every Caribbean place does their jerk chicken differently but this one was quite good. Sweet, tangy and spicy, it was quite a combination of flavors! The oxtail was extremely tender as well, although the flavor was a little more mild and subdued. Maybe it was because we came around closing hours? Not sure, but the sides weren't too bad as well! The rice was great, and the curried mashed potatoes went well with the roti. The Mac and cheese tasted a little typical, so nothing too out of the ordinary there.
Overall, the main dishes were delightful, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere of the restaurant came together and formed what I believe is a hidden gem in the Webster area

My husband and I had the best experience here, we celebrated the Houston Steelpan festival with them, the food was great. My husband and I shared the oxtails peas and rice cabbage and plantain. Later we tasted some corn soup, I think that was another vender, that was amazing as well. Later that same evening we weren't ready to leave, so we enjoyed the live band inside the restaurant. This was the Caribbean festival experience we've been looking for, for a long time. If we weren't moving out of state we would come here more often. Thank you for the AMAZING time. I want to move to the Caribbean now.

Large portions of food. I had chicken cooked with olives and onion. Reminded me of my mother's Venezuelan chicken. It was most excellent. I usually order curried chicken which she raved about. My other sister had oxtail which is my personal favorite. My brother in law had fried spring rolls with passion fruit vinaigrette and a Caribbean salad. 3 full meals was only $ 54.00. Parking was a bit challenging but that's because a local group of high school youth has a car wash and also the Restaurant was setting up for a festival and arts event and also live Ragea with well know musicians. Looking forward to going out there tonight for the festivities. Love the atmosphere and the food. Very family oriented.
