There are not enough great things to say about Lucio's and the owner/chef and his wife make you feel as though your are special guests in their home. The food and service is beyond compare and the attention to detail and presentation is spectacular as is the quality and taste of every dish. You can taste the love that goes into each and every dish they serve.

First time and it couldn't have been more perfect for a birthday celebration. Food and atmosphere were amazing. Definitely coming back

As usual, the food and service were outstanding. I always thought the rack of lamb was the best I have ever had but John outdid himself this time. Perfectly cooked. Irena also outdid herself on her apple pie. The steak also gets rave review from our group. Let John decide the best temperature for the entrees. You will not find better service. The prices are very good compared to other high end restaurants in town. Not pretentious. The venue is BYOB with no corkage fee on Wednesday. Even so, the corkage fee on other days is very reasonable. Lucio's is as good as it gets.

Lucio's is a frequent stop for us. It consistently has outstanding food & service. I appreciate the ability to bring your own wine with a $10 corkage fee!

I have been to Lucio's several times and it is consistently wonderful. Whether you take your own wine or not is your choice. The corkage fee is reasonable. The wines they have at the restaurant are good. The food is amazing! We went prior to a theater show downtown and it was a good location for that.

Don't let the unprepossessing exterior fool you. Lucio's is the real deal in fine dining! The interior is intimate and service is friendly and seamless. We loved the tuna, rack of lamb and mushroom soup. Everything was cooked to perfection and well worth the price. Valet parking is out front. Highly recommend!

Lucio's was the best dinner we had while visiting Houston and it exceeded my expectations even from its great reviews! Shoutout to our waitress Irina. We had the lamb and the short rib. The short rib looked like a brownie on top of that yummy risotto and it melts in your mouth. The whole dish was impeccably crafted, with the greens and citrus foam melding so nicely into the flavors. The lamb's herb crust was amazing and it was cooked perfectly. I don't eat buckwheat basically ever and the buckwheat and chorizo side for the lamb was so good. Not pictured (because we ate it too fast) is the crab cake starter which has no fillers and all crab goodness. I'm a bit picky about crab cake and it was amazing.
And the dessert!! The apple pie absolutely blew me away. It was rich and perfectly sweet. I am a huge fan of a good creme brulee and the texture of theirs was perfect and the flavors were so smooth and delicious. The blueberries were mulled in some herb that sang with the creme brulee.

We dined here for dinner with another couple before catching a show at Stages (just around the corner)... fabulous food extravaganza! The chef came out and answered any questions and the server was wonderful. We loved the short rib dinner, the tuna dinner and the house snapper special! Thank you for a terrific evening!

This is by far our favorite Restaurant in Houston and should be on the top of your Bucket List if you haven't been here, the 36 hour short rib is a must have and the kale salad and mushroom soup and I could go on and on. We are blessed to have John and his wife doing things right.

This is our "go to" restaurant for special occasions. I have celiac disease and the majority of the food on the menu is gluten free offering choices for all parts of my meal. The chef's wife has celiac so I feel confident when ordering. Everything we've had has been delicious and beautifully presented. Our adult children are regulars at Lucio's as well. They love that it's BYOB. Another plus, Lucio's is quiet enough to actually hold a conversation. We all highly recommend Lucio's.

One of my favorite little secrets. Amazing food and the best service I have had anywhere in Houston. The head waitress has been there for many years and is a consummate professional and makes ever experience special. We take a few bottles of our favorite wine and it's our #1 date spot!

I have been a customer at Lucios since they opened back in the mid 2000s. Had several big parties there for various birthdays and anniversaries and they always accommodated. I always loved it. I had not been in several years and I was thrilled that it was still the same level of quality and service. Wonderful place. And Iliana, our server, was superb. Highly recommend this place.
