I’m not as close as I used to be, so we don’t eat there as often but it’s IMO one of the best BBQ places in Houston. I’ve been eating there for over 20 years and see some of the same folks in the restaurant and behind the counter. Love the sauce, we always get a bottle when we go.

1st time visiting. I had a taste for a bbq sandwich and found this spot on Google. I ordered a brisket sandwich and a sausage sandwich. I hate to say that I was not unable to eat either sandwich. The brisket and the sausage were dry. I can give grace for the brisket, but there is no excuse for dry sausage. I know this place has been in business for many years, but the food wasn't good.

Not great! Brisket sandwich was dry. Though the bun appeared home made it was not great. $4.25 for a scoop of not wonderful potato salad. 2 sandwiches and 2 scoops of potato salad was $34! Won't be going there again ever. Very disappointed that soneone I know thinks this is good bar b que. Sauce is not great either. I wil not be eating here again ever!

Some of the best barbeque in Houston. Their brisket is amazing. Link sausage was outstanding. Ribs are out of this world. Ice cold beer didn't hurt either.

Vegetarian options: If you are a vegetarian this ain't you your place.

Food was very dry, brisket crumbled more than a Crumbl cookie, I thought the brisket was about to disintegrate in my mouth with how dry it was. Service was really weird. Dude just stood there looking mad while the lady checking us out had zero customer service experience. As if the food and service wasn’t bad already, they charged two arms and a leg for barely any food. Do not recommend anyone go here unless you want to spend a lot on mid food. Lastly, the atmosphere in there was equivalent to a funeral. I thought I was going to pass a casket up on the way out. Lights were dim, very dark and depressing. Bat cave experience.
