Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant

Reliable fajita quality with a spice level that can be controlled by adding your own amount of pepper. The flour tortillas are enormous, and I feel like we were given way too many both times, but that's better than none.

Service was top notch both visits with steady drink/chip refills without asking.

The lobster tail added to fajitas isn't a bad option if you're feeling a little bonus. It had a nice char on it.

So amazing! The fajitas were out of this world. We sat in the bar and loved the atmosphere. Our server was top notch. Very professional, pleasant demeanor and very genuine. The manager also came by to check on our table. I wish I would have gotten the server's name. He did a great job. Bar table - Friday night 9.26.25 - dark haired male. Please give him our compliments. We will definitely return.

After searching for Tex-mex restaurants, this is the one we chose, and boy are we glad we did! From the moment we pulled up, we could tell it was going to be a great restaurant because of the atmosphere. They brought us fresh chips before we could even ask, a few of us had the green chicken enchiladas and we all agreed they were the best we had ever had! We absolutely loved the hat-lamps hanging from the ceiling! Nice touch.

On a Friday night at location in I10 at Blalock.Decibel level was actually painful....decibel app measured at level of potential hearing damage: 85-92! Waiter had too many tables...slow service. Beef fajitas were overcooked and tough...no flavor. Not the usual experience we've had...will never go back to that location. Horrible experience.

First time at this location, it was a busy Sunday afternoon, food and service were as good as elsewhere, besides the waiter, a young lady from the kitchen asked us how our food was, informed her all was well, but after leaving and driving away I noticed I did not have my wallet, we called and returned immediately, they looked for it, obviously sensing my angst, and a hero emerged, Katherine, the same lady from the kitchen checking on us during the meal, she wasn’t able to find my wallet, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying, even digging through the trash that was accessible, after a serious search, Katherine reassured me they would continue looking, even pulling aside the trash bags with the intent to dump them all out once the rush died down, I left annoyed at myself, returned to my car, opened the door, and there was my Wallet on the side of the seat, well I felt like a horses backside, went back in and informed Katherine I found it, she was happy to hear my found it, and also that they didn’t need to dig through trash. The other workers made a try, but I really would not have left the restaurant if it was wasn’t for her obviously going above and beyond, hospitality is something I see less and less, but she was outstanding, heard my problem, took it seriously, and showed me she too it seriously. Kudos to Katherine, I could not have asked for more.

This is one of my favorite Lupe locations! Shepherd location and the original on Hwy 6 are also the best ones. I frequent this one because it's close to home and has an awesome interior remodel! Tonight I stopped in to grab my go to meal, the Ensalata Verde which is so refreshing & delicious esp with grilled shrimp and I like to mix the lime vinaigrette with the avocado ranch! The manager Hugo was super friendly and accommodating to my special requests to get my Togo food to perfection, even inspecting the salad and making sure it was to my liking. Great service here as always! I also want to make sure I complement some of my favorite servers. Yuri and Jocelyn at the bar are delightful! And Solomon & German gave great service in my most recent visits! I always have a great experience here even though I ask for lots of specific details I'm never met with hesitation. Great customer service! Don't be afraid to ask for your custom wants they will be met with a smile. Btw the fajitas and house made tortillas are the best in Houston. Not just my opinion. And the pork ribs and house made Bbq sauce are phenomenal, just ask for the temp you want on the pork for best results. Salud!

We are visiting from out of state. This place was really delicious. Our server was amazing. So kind and helpful. One of the owners was even walking around greeting patrons. The table side guacamole was ver fresh and good. Food was hot and incredibly delicious.

They didn’t need to open today after the storm but they did and they rocked it - this is a great company - sometimes you just crave Tex-mex - the Steak Lupe is legit
