Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant

The food tasted good and I loved sitting outside to eat on my lunch break. The waiters were lovely, kind, friendly, funny and great. I took back fajitas with me to work, ending up eating them the next day, but I can’t trust yall anymore because I bit into a staple with some of the beef fajita meat. It’s been a few weeks and when I bite into sliced up meat I’m still worried I’m going to bite into a piece of metal. I’m already a weird person with textures and tastes and once a restaurant lets something slip, it just puts me off forever. So I dunno how your restaurant fajita meat can be close to staples, but just wanted to tell yall to be more careful for your future guests. 💗📎

I’ve had mixed experiences at this Lupe Tortilla. Sometimes they are 5 star and sometimes it’s pretty mid. I’ve had better luck at other locations.

Dear Lupe Tortilla Management,

I wanted to share my recent experience at your restaurant. My server, Shaun, was absolutely fantastic — his service was excellent and he handled the situation as best as possible.

Unfortunately, while seated in a booth, I noticed a nail sticking out that tore the back of my new shirt and scratched my back. I reported this immediately to my server, who notified the manager. The manager comped my meal, which I appreciate, and they hammered the nails back in after I pointed them out.

However, I wanted to bring this to your attention because the scratch on my back is concerning, especially since the nails appeared old or possibly rusted. I will be monitoring the area for safety and any signs of infection and may still get a tetanus shot just to be cautious.

Additionally, my burrito was mostly beans, and the fajita meat inside was quite dry and unpleasant — although the quesadilla we ordered was great. My girlfriend and I ended up sharing her meal instead.

Overall, while I truly appreciate Shaun’s great service and the quick response, I wanted to make sure the safety issue is fully addressed to prevent any child or other guest from being injured in the future.

I love Lupe Tortilla and the food and service (other than this one part) was absolutely fantastic. The hostess sat us in a relatively empty building in a corner surrounded by 3 separate tables with small children. We asked if we could move when shown our seat and were told no. It was so loud from the screaming we couldn’t even have a conversation. There were options all over the restaurant where this could have been avoided and it was a top 5 worst dining experience ultimately due to something that could have been avoided. Still love Lupe but this was such a bad experience that I had to throw it out there somewhere. Don’t sit adults in an empty restaurant next to screaming kids pleeeeeeease
