This was our first visit to the restaurant. We travel to Spain quite often and we wanted to try the food here to see how close it was. The restaurants atmosphere was delightful and the food was outstanding. The artwork of the restaurant made the atmosphere even better. We shared 11 dishes plus desert. We will definitely go back.

Went to a rather late dinner (8:30), and was surprised that every time we ordered an appetizer, down to our main entree, it took less than 10 minutes to go out . Paella to be exact, which normally takes 30-40 minutes . Everything was OK, and room temp as if it was already pre-prepared. Everyone seemed to be rushing to get off the clock . This was a Thursday night.

Heavy velvet curtains and soft ambient lighting. Delicious cocktails and excellent service. But the food - the food took center stage. The descriptions on the menu didn't come close to capturing some of the dishes. Just know the food is visually enticing, like a work of art in some cases, but always delicious.

Some classic items missing from the menu, i.e., rabo de toro. Would love to see them come back. Why they did move the bear? This is a symbol of Madrid.

Flawless experience! Came here for our Anniversary and the staff really made sure our visit was special. They put rose petals around our table, gave us complimentary glasses of bubbly to toast our special day and a complimentary dessert as well. We got the 4-course prix-fixe menu with wine pairing. Food was exceptional, wine was exceptional, service was exceptional and the restaurant itself is gorgeous. Lucia was our waitress and she was excellent, very kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Tasting menu and wine pairing was okay. There were a couple of high points where the wine played with the course, but other than that it was all just okay.
This was my second time at MAD and we enjoyed it. We had a party of 6. The only thing that happened was that nobody called to inform us that the air conditioning was out and the only informed one person from our party when she arrived and it wasn't communicated. There were portable units placed throughout the restaurant but as the night went on it got little hotter. Our waiter was awesome he did give us glasses of champagne on the house for the inconvenience.

The food and service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant for and occasion. I only issue was the air conditioner wasn't working so I was a little warm in the building but it didn't take away from the experience.
