The bread is very good, the coffee isn't bad. We ate there for breakfast, but what we ordered was cold; it would have been much better if it were hot or warm. They don't offer that option, and there's no bathroom in the establishment either.
I visited Magnols for the first and was clueless about what to expect. So I read the small chalkboard and is state to order items or food place it with the team member. So I was noticing the looks from the customers and the one tall employee and they were kind of confused as to why I was in the bakery. I didn’t let that bother me until I asked the tall guy is this a menu and he hesitated and said I guess so. I said to myself you don’t know if this is a menu or not ok I get...
This is by far the best Parisian bakery in Texas for me. I live in Dallas but when I visit Houston this is a must. Their pastries are so balanced, they don’t just make pretty desserts like many other bakeries that are known for just that but also deliver on taste. They don’t make everything deathly sweet like US loves to, it’s a no frills authentic French baking shop.
