My favorite Hawaiian bbq in Houston! Food is always fresh, delicious and consistent! My favorite items to get are the bbq chicken, chicken katsu and curry chicken katsu! Their Mac salad is classic Hawaiian! The staff is always very nice, helpful and provide excellent service!
Every order is a 45 minute wait. And they won’t tell you when it’s ready. You just have to keep going up to check with the origami at the cash register to see if it’s ready. Good luck getting the correct order. They just hand out random orders to random people.

it’s unfortunate to say this because the food is grate, very tasty and fulfilling but the service is atrocious. the individual who took my order was very rude and unfriendly with a tone of voice that felt very unwelcome. i had no complaints over the food because it’s always a 10/10. usually the orders are brought to the customers but the cashier left it on a table and walked away. the previous manager took good care of the customer, was very friendly and attentive. the service has gone down hill with the new current employees. at this point i would suggest to go to the original Hawaiian BBQ that is across the street right next to DAISO.

This place is delish!! Portion size was great! The flavor was on point! The Manager let us taste a few things before ordering, so that was nice. This will definitely be a regular takeout or dine-in restaurant for us.
Good food I would recommend the msg infused with artificial smoke flavor kalua pork. Especially with some extra flavor added from the unwashed cabbage and plain white rice. It’s tasty to say the least. Let’s not forget to wash it down with super expensive can drinks that the Asian grocery store sells as well. Lastly why ask for tips if not a sit down restaurant?? Mac salad taste really good with the msg added and chicken tuna as well.
Food was way undercooked. I tried to do the ribs and the meat would not break apart as I was chewing. I feel like I was chewing on gum at some point. It wouldn’t even break apart for me to try to swallow it.

Food was undercooked today. I’ve been there before and I know exactly what the food is supposed to taste like but today it was just off.

Food is not good too much MSG. The tables are sticky and they only have hard metal chairs that are rusty. The restroom is not clean every day as there are pubs hair on the seat and poo stains on the bowl. The chicken is really rubbery and the katsu chicken comes out raw 50 percent of the time. The manager Andy Seems lost on the food safety manner. He said that he is limited by upper management as they only hire undocumented workers to keep cost low and to under pay them. Sadly for these reasons I have stopped coming here to eat. To make matters worse the cashier Jasmine had a terrible attitude and I said doesn’t my tip matter she responded ha I don’t give a Sh** we don’t get those credit card tips they go to the owner as that’s the only way they are profitable. Lastly they will kick you out 30 minutes early to pack up as I quote we don’t get paid after 9 pm.
