We came early Sunday afternoon after a trip to Houston Museum of Natural Science. Parking was a little limited but we found a spot in the street right away. We ordered crispy rolls, yum woon sen, yellow curry, and Pad Thai to share. Everything was good. It was quiet enough for conversation. The server was attentive. I like spicy things and the others don’t, so we ordered mild, and the server brought three items to choose from to spice things up. 😋

My all time fav Thai restaurant! Hosted a bday dinner here with a group of 6 and the staff catered to us with a quickness! I also order to go and stay across town. It’s well worth it

Outstanding across the board. We ordered the lettuce wraps, yellow curry, and garlic pepper beef, and every dish was excellent. Bold flavors, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care.
The service was exceptional. Attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing.
Honestly, it felt like being back in Thailand. The food, the atmosphere, the energy. This place does it right, and we’ll absolutely be back.

My favorite and go-to Thai restaurant in midtown! Food is always good. I’ve tried the curries, pad thai, chicken lettuce wrap, egg rolls and all are so flavorful! The place is really cute and clean. The service is always great there.

I ordered Malai Thai to-go and it was so so good! I ordered the Pad Kee Mao with Chicken and Shrimp. I also ordered some egg rolls, there were 4 in the order and they were pretty big too! Very flavorful food I can’t wait to come back and try another dish! Beware that parking is terrible! I used curbside and it was brought out to me promptly

Drove in from Sugarland after randomly finding this place on Google Maps while searching for dinner on a Saturday evening.
Shared a Moo Yang as our appetizer, Gai Kua and Panang Chicken as our mains. The found was amazing ! Even though we didn’t have room for dessert, we shared a delicious coconut cake.
A 40-minute drive was well worth it and we’ll be back…

Our first order of spicy wotons were undercooked but they replaced it right away. The rest of the meal mau pou tofu, four lions meatball and spicy noodles were excellent!
Disappointing that this location didn't have fried pork intestines but the other locations do.

Great food and awesome cute atmosphere! Drunken noodle is great, so is the mango sticky rice! Highly recommend this place! Parking could be tricky though.

The girl who placed the order and packed our food has a terrible attitude. She tried to squeeze five take out containers into one plastic bag without considering that some will spill out and ruin the whole experience for us. She has no respect for customers and looked mad the whole time.

Best Thai near down town
If I can give 10 stars I would!! The service, food, environment all were excellent! Each dish was made fresh, with top notch ingredients and love. We had drunken noodles, basil chicken, Thai fried rice, dumplings, lettuce wraps, so much! The service was detail oriented, kind, and professional. Never had to ask for a refill or napkins or anything! Definitely would recommend and come back! ⭐️⭐️

I had an amazing experience at Malai Thai Street Eats! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The Chicken Satay (4 pcs) was perfectly grilled and packed with flavor, the Pineapple Fried Rice with beef was fresh, aromatic, and full of authentic taste, and the Japanese Cheesecake with ice cream was the perfect sweet ending — light, creamy, and refreshing.
On top of the great food, the service really stood out. A big shoutout to Marvin A, my server, for being so attentive, friendly, and making sure everything was spot-on throughout my meal. His excellent service really elevated the whole experience.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for flavorful Thai street eats in Houston. I’ll definitely be coming back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
