Got the massaman curry, papaya salad, and crab rangoon as takeout. They were all DELICIOUS! This place will definitely become my go-to when I’m craving Thai food.

The Tom yam and som Thai at this restaurant were disappointing. Both dishes lacked any depth of flavor beyond mere sourness and hotness.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but it's beautifully decorated inside with florals and plants. Service is great and attentive. The food is a variety between Thai and Japanese. The flavor profile is good but they've added sugar to everything including the soups and curries. Everything tasted like dessert. We had the tom ka ga (coconut milk), pad Thai and massamun curry. The soup was incredibly sweet and a preview of what was to come.

I have lived in Thailand for a few years. I will say that this is the most authentic Thai place I've been to in the US outside of California. Tried the "Thai hot" level of spice in my panang curry. It's that eye watering, nose dripping kind of spice level so proceed with caution. The decor is also beautiful and cozy. No complaints about the service. The prices are very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Met some friends here while on a flight layover. What a delicious recommendation! Loved every aspect of the meal. A beautiful instagramable space with fantastic service to enjoy an outstanding lunch. I’m hungry just looking at the pictures I added to my post as I type. Lots of great carnivorous and vegetarian options. Expertly prepared with the freshest ingredients.

I stop here over the weekend after stopping by Cali Sandwich place next door and I tried the Drunken Noodle with chicken and I wasn't that impressed! To be honest I was a little disappointed! The flavor was off a little and the noodles were breaking up into small little pieces. The dish just fail flat to me, wasn't horrible but not great..

Tried this place a couple times now and overall the food is just okay. Nothing I would want to come back for particularly unless really craving for some Thai food nearby but there are quite a few better options not too far away. Parking is terrible and service still need to work out the kinks and be a bit more attentive. There is a young Asian lady there who is generally quick and good however. Overall, a small quaint casual Thai place that's slightly overpriced.

4.5 stars I've been looking for a new Thai place in town because my favorite Thai place had closed awhile back. I was in the UH area and searched "Thai food" and Malai Thai food showed up. We headed over to discover that it was in the same plaza as Cali's Vietnamese restaurant, right next door! The place was lively and full of couples on dates. Cute! We got seated right away and service was prompt. I ordered my Thai restaurant usuals: Massaman curry and pad kee mao. Seeing that they had chicken lettuce wraps (a favorite dish at my old Thai restaurant), I added that to our order as well. Food came out surprisingly fast. Chicken lettuce wrap was flavorful and delicious, and loved that the chicken breast was not dry. The lettuce cups were crisp and fresh. Also loved that there was extra lettuce tucked in the plate of chicken. Yum! Pad kee mao came out next and we all enjoyed it as well. I absolutely loved that they deep fried the basil so that it was crispy, and it was served like a garnish on top of the noodles. Another very tasty dish. Massaman curry promptly followed suite and it had good flavors. unfortunately I found the dish to be on the salty end (but does go well with rice), and there was an extremely strong coconut flavor, to the point of being a tad unpleasant. This was my least favorite dish. However, I did like how they julienned the carrots and there was a good amount of potato's and tofu in the dish. I thought the price was reasonable for the amount and quality of food they gave you, and with inflation on groceries and everything, it's understandable. Also, another bonus is they don't use MSG in their food. Woot! Overall a very good Thai joint in midtown. I definitely want to come back!

Tried this place for lunch recently. It was ok overall. The parking situation is terrible. I got the pad see ew lunch special, mild. The noodles were pretty spicy. More than what I was expecting for mild. I opted for beef and wish they cut the strips of beef a little smaller since it was difficult to eat. Hubby got the pad kee mao, medium, and also said it was spicy but it was a true Thai spice. They did put bell peppers in his noodles which we thought was interesting. The food was overall ok, but the parking will be what deters us from going.
