I am writing to share a very negative experience at the Mambos restaurant at the Gulfgate location. I went to your restaurant around 9:15 pm on Sunday 4/6/25 and I ordered Caldo vuelve a la vida, rice, two topo chico, 12 oysters. By the time I left the restaurant around 10:30 right away I experienced an uncontrollable bowel movement getting in my car. The food was contaminated to the point that I had severe diarrhea. I hope that Mambo’s Restaurant management will take this seriously and implement measures to ensure that this does not happen to anyone else. I called the restaurant to report it and the manager said thank you for letting us know 🙄.

I went to eat this Thursday around 3:40 pm. They sat us at a table behind the bar. The waiter who had our turn took more than 10 minutes to bring us the drinks. He was at the bar with a girl in blue and we only ordered 2 sides of potatoes and breaded shrimp with packet sauce and he never brought it to us and the place was empty. The managers should pay more attention to the staff and their customers.

First of all I want to give my waitress SANDRA A OUTSTANDING REVIEW, she went ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR MY DAUGHTER AND I . We had the mambo style crawfish and shrimp and she didn’t make us feel like we were a bother to her. I can honestly say the best service I have ever had, THANK YOU SANDRA FOR WHAT YOU DO AND GOD BLESS 💯♥️ I highly recommend her !!!!
