I don’t recommend this Mambo location at all. The waitress from saturday March 14 around 9pm (didn’t catch her name, one of the taller ones) was acting very strange, very unwelcoming. I regret even leaving a small tip. And the food is very basic here and made my stomach hurt all night.
I also overheard a table nearby complaining to her that they never received some plates they ordered.

The customer service at this location was a 0/10. The waiter assigned to our table only spoke Spanish and was unable to communicate with me at all, which made ordering very difficult. After taking our order, she spent about 10 minutes talking at another table before placing it or bringing our water. When she finally brought the water, she set both glasses on our table and then tried to take one back to give to another table, which was very odd. When our food arrived, it was not hot or fresh it seemed like it had been sitting for a while before being brought out. I’m a frequent visitor of the location on 45 and have never had issues there. I’ll be sticking to the location I know from now on.

We were very disappointed with the service provided. This just made our dinner unpleasant. 1) we went to sit at the bar area and the 1st waitress took our drink order to go. 2) the 2nd waitress brought out our appetizer with no utensils and no plates. 3) Now the 3rd waitress took our dinner order and fixed it up to go. Here we are enjoying our drinks and we're being pushed out the door. Not sure why they decided to give us a to go order but we were still enjoying our drinks. So with this all said, the wait staff needs to attend the customer and leave the MEN drinking at the bar alone. Very Disappointed!!!

We have been to mambos numerous times, but never had service like this day on 2/16/2026. The service we had to get up and look for her we even had to ask other once for stuff. We would ask for side stuff like like or butter for the crawfish she would I guess forget and I would have to repeat myself. The crawfish was over cook as well. Then when the bill came everyone got there bill we were 5 adults and 2 kids 4 years old and 6 years old. Then what we see the tip was included in the bill. First the service was not good and she forgot my friends food as well that she had to reorder. Then she expect us to pay her the tip on the receipt. Then I read the bottom this is a scam it clearly said tip will be added for party’s of 8 and more. That was not even us. And we went to the front to cash out with the manager and they still questioning what was the issue. Clearly the top should have not been included and no question on why we want to remove it or decrease it. But yes we explain it to manager. But I hope ya not doing this to other people adding too when they are not even 8 people plus with bad service as we got.

Basically, for me the winners are the oysters and the various ceviches, and this is what keeps me a loyal client.
Other foods are mediocre at best, seriously... and expensive!
Servers are usually pretty nice.
Music is too loud to carry a conversation.
