So expensive. 2 alfajores $7.00… what??? Check your bill because the total does not match if you use your calculator… the empanadas (beef, chicken & ham and cheese) were good but the size… too small for the price. I won’t go back.

I ordered 8 small empanadas (my husband ate 6 of them for breakfast) and bought a dozen small (a little larger than a quarter) alfajdores and a box of factory-made sandwich cookies for my kids. Prices weren’t posted anywhere but it’s a very unassuming mom and pop shop so I wasn’t concerned.It was $70.The items were good, but the price was outrageous. I would have thought $40 for what I got was really expensive, but would have chalked it up to helping out a small business. $70 is just completely outside the realms of normal commercial transactions. I should have just told them nevermind and left, but instead I’ll just never go back.

Great place. Excellent empanadas. My favorite is the beef. The pastries and sandwiches are excellent too. The tiramisu is one of the best in town.

I would give this shop 10000 stars if I could! The pastry desserts are incredible! The empanadas are SO SO good! I asked for the "favorites" and I was NOT disappointed. I was in town for training, and in search of some GOOD food that I couldn't find at a local fast food. The choripan sandwich was delicious as well. I can't say enough good things about the foods, but the place itself is just cute as can be. Very home-style feeling when you walk in- very inviting. I will absolutely be back. Every recommendation by the staff was top notch! Great job, Manena's and thank you for such wonderful hospitality!

Went looking for a bombilla, they were out but the pastries and food selection was pretty great. The dining seats were limited but the place felt very welcoming and authentic.
