This place has become one of my most favorite Korean restaurants in town. They have the best jjampong (spicy seafood noodles) out of all the places I've tried. Their sweet and sour beef is so so good; it is also a must-try. Their tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) is also really good but mine was soft. I'm fine with that but some people prefer it to be chewy. The portion was huge but it was so good we basically cleaned the plates. The owner saw how well we ate and she smiled...
Sure, the service might be slow—but have you ever dragged yourself through a hard, soul-crushing day at work, only to sit down and take that first bite of a pitch-perfect Jajangmyeon/ Jjamppong combo, with their magical kimchi on the side?
I got number 1. The spicy seafood noodles was tasty. I got too full otherwise I would had finished all broth. The black bean noodles were ok, I forgot to ask more spicy for that. I like the kimchi as well. I will come back to try different dishes though. The service is very friendly. Hot tea for FREE is a big for me. Someone mentioning in their comments that music will help with the atmosphere, I agree with them. Just that yesterday after 14hrs works I think no music was perfect...
