I came into this location today, 10/13 around 6pm. I ordered the size for 2 flavors. Toppings, I chose chocolate chips and maraschino cherries. After she mixed it, I asked for caramel on the top. When she served it and laid it on the counter, it was running over on both sides. The caramel fell all over the counter.
I picked it up and asked the girl if she was going to serve this to me like this. She said that is why we don't serve it like that, put another on the counter and told me to do it. I said if that was the case, she should have said that when I asked for it on top. Had she said that, I would have said not to do it. But, don't get rude, slam the bowl on the counter and tell me to do it. I am the customer. How unprofessional is that! She did not once offer to do it and had an attitude.
I asked for a supervisor. Then, a young man said he would do it. I told him thank you and I appreciate it and he got rude. You don't treat your customers like that. I wished I would have taken a picture of what the bowl looked like. If you don't know how to speak to customers, then you shouldn't be in this type of job.
I will never patronize this location again!

On Friday evening at approximately 9:30 PM, three women entered the store, displaying an unnecessarily sassy and dismissive attitude from the moment they arrived. The young employees, who were diligently attempting to accommodate their needs, were repeatedly interrupted as they tried to respond to the women’s inquiries. It was disheartening to witness this level of rudeness from three adult women, especially toward staff who were simply trying to assist them.
The behavior of these individuals not only disrespected the employees but also created an unpleasant atmosphere in the store, affecting the experience for other patrons, including myself and my family. The employees were making a sincere effort to be helpful, but their professional demeanor was met with abrupt and discourteous interruptions. Unfortunately, this exchange disrupted the overall mood and enjoyment of the evening for both the staff and other customers present.
The young lady that caused the initial problem failed to mention about her allergies to the employees and proceeded to talk over the young man that was helping her. This sort of conduct is inappropriate from the costumers, seeing it from a parent perspective who would hate to have that happen to their kids.

We visited this ice cream shop around 9:30 p.m. on a Friday night. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing from the start. One of our friends needed to use the restroom before ordering, and although there was a sign on the door that said, "Restroom is for paying customers only," the employee initially refused, stating that it was "closed." After some back-and-forth, and only after my friend promised she wouldn’t make a mess, he begrudgingly handed over the key. When I asked if the restroom was closed because it had already been cleaned, the employee mumbled something before admitting that was indeed the reason.
Then, when my friend went to order, she asked about their practices with the ice cream toppings, as she has a peanut allergy. The employee informed her that they use the same scoop for all toppings, regardless of allergens, and pointed out a sign that supposedly warns customers about this. As someone with an allergy, this was concerning, especially since many shops make an effort to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies.
Overall, the service was subpar, and the staff seemed largely indifferent to customer needs. The majority of the employees appeared to be quite young, and perhaps that inexperience contributed to the poor experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're looking for friendly or accommodating service.

This Marble Slab use to be way better. The prices have increased significantly compared to other Marble Slabs in the area. It’s $8.39 for a medium cup of ice cream. Their rainbow sprinkles use to be the best, somewhat soft and flavorful, now the ones they use taste crunchy and stale with no flavor. Also, they use to use blanched almonds, now they have the sliced version with the skin on the edges, which gives a weird flavor and texture. I now prefer the Marble Slab on Bunkerhill.

I was coming in 10 mins before the ice cream shop closes and as I was pulling up to the parking lot in front of the store they close the door on me as I asked why as they said they were closed and I told them the time and they told me no and laugh at mine and my girlfriends face, that’s just plain out rude do yourself a favor and don’t even come close to this shop!

The reason I’m giving this place a four star review if you have seen any of my other marble slab reviews it’s because this place is pretty basic and classic and that’s why I’m giving everything else a five star review here because this is honestly one of my favorites, ice cream places.the thing is is that this place is less likely to go out of business rather than other small businesses around town so I always always recommend people to go to small businesses or especially vegan shops first because people need those options and they are delicious as well, but as always much love from Houston and the universe and if you’re going to get this place, please get a waffle cone that’s dipped in frosting.

Delicious
I recently visited Marble Slab with my family, hoping to enjoy a pleasant ice cream treat. Unfortunately, our experience left a lot to be desired.Upon entering the store, we were met with an unwelcoming atmosphere. The staff seemed disinterested, and the manager, in particular, was incredibly rude. They made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. To make matters worse, as my father was trying to inquire about the available flavors and prices, the manager openly laughed at him. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also hurtful. In the end, our visit to Marble Slab Creamery was marred by poor customer service and a disappointing ice cream experience. We won't be returning, and I strongly encourage the management to address these issues to provide a more enjoyable experience for future customers.
Terrible service. They don’t allow customers to use restrooms. If you can avoid this establishment please do as you will be better for it.
