Starts off with Andrea made the best espresso martini I’ve had in my life. It’s a small place but nicely fashioned. The food was wonderful. Watermelon and tomato salad delicious. The shrimp Aguachile was just OK but still good. But the topper of the evening was the ravioli and lamb Ragu. Incredible!

Came during opening hours, 1st and only customer. Server was nice and knowledgeable. Manger/ bartender took a while to even start on my cocktail. Drink was exceptional. I ordered 2 entrees and an app being my first time. I ordered the Steak and gnocchi, don’t recommend. It’s not a true NY strip, has too many tendons and the grill cooked charred and over cooked the steak. Couldn’t even cut into it. After telling my server I didn’t like the steak, thinking the manger would take it off because I left hungry still as I write this, they only removed $10 from my $100 bill for 1 person. I just wanted to have a nice treat before a long night.
I ended up walking over to RIVAS, brand new establishment. Instantly greeted with high energy and big smiles. Night and day difference.
Don’t plan on coming back, was really let down.

Excellent food. Full of flavor and just an overall great experience. We had the ravioli with lamb ragu, artichokes, and pork belly. All solid food choices. We also had the bread pudding and an Old Fashioned cocktail. Highly recommend.

The food here is amazing with some of the best pasta I have had in Texas. Sadly, the service leaves a little bit to be desired. They could really benefit from having a dedicated bartender and one additional server, having the two servers do triple duty while we were there made our experience less than enjoyable.
The other issue with our visit was just how loud it was. The restaurant wasn't even full and there were 2 groups of 6 and when both groups finally left I could feel my ears ringing. PLEASE install more sound absorptive materials in your ceiling. I registered volume levels on my phone that should be reserved for rock concerts.

Mastrantos is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to since moving to Houston 2 years ago. I have taken friends here and everyone has loved the experience - the people, the food, the atmosphere, everything that makes for a wonderful dining experience. I always look forward to my next visit! I promise if you try it you won’t be disappointed!

This was our first time here and we loved it. The waitress was very informative and gave us the vision and background that the owners and The chefs in the kitchen have. The appetizer that she recommended was absolutely probably one of the top appetizers I’ve ever eaten The meal that she recommended was fantastic The atmosphere was nice and quiet. It was a really nice evening. We finished it off with some good bread pudding and tiramisu.. We live in sugar land and we will be back.
This was a great spot, easy to get to and had the best vibe inside! The service was spectacular and the variety of food choices allowed us to have the greatest experience. I would skip the chef’s table dinner, just choose your own dishes to share.

Our dinner at Mastranto's was exceptional!! My husband and I wanted to surprise my sister with some news, and our server Andrea did a phenomenal job with it! She wrote on the carrot cake plate with Nutella and presented it to my sister as soon as she arrived - so sweet and thoughtful!! Our dinner was delicious, our favorite part was the Texquenos!!!

Such a cute spot with amazing service! We had a great experience at Mastrantos—from the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly warm and attentive. The appetizers were the standout of the night (seriously, don’t skip them), and the drinks were perfectly crafted. The pasta was solid, fresh and flavorful, while the paella fell a little flat for us compared to everything else. Still, it was a lovely evening overall. Would definitely come back for the ambiance, cocktails, and starters alone!
