This is my second time here and it was even better than the first time. The service is shockingly fast and very friendly. The quality and quantity of the rolls and sashimi could very well be the best in town. And wow the prices are so affordable, this place is unbeatable! Well maybe the ambiance isn’t bougie enough for fancy folks but if you actually want the best sushi in town give Matsu a shot.

Nothing like authentic sushi. So much rice and so much stuffing in the rolls that each piece is more than a mouthful. Service is okay but not friendly. Ginger dressing is so creamy. Very Americanized sushi. Not my cup of tea. And so much artificial crabmeat in the rolls.

Such a great spot for lunch and they have afforable prices! I got a shaggy dog and the tempura shrimp and they tasted great. The service is really good too and the food comes really fast. I was not feeling my best so the miso soup tasted great and also helped me feel better.
I ordered from here for my first time. Togo. And OMGGGG DELICIOUS!!! Will be sharing this spot and ordering again. I was also happy about the prices!

We tried this place out based on the reviews we thought it was going to be good. However, the sushi is not fresh and the rolls are not made to order. We placed the order with our waiter and maybe five minutes later all of the rolls were on our table. Fast service but they had been in a refrigerator for awhile. The rolls were hard and not a good taste. Our waiter was nice and did a great job. But definitely will not be back and wouldn’t recommend it
Great service, great prices, and great food. My wife loved the special roll made with plantain. We will keep ordering that roll every time we come back.

First time here and will definitely be back. Prices are reasonable nice menu selection. Nothing exotic on the sushi menu but everything I ordered was very fresh and delicious. I also ordered a spider roll and spicy tuna hand roll that were both top notch. Staff was friendly and helpful and received food quickly.

The food was excellent, but the server Nancy was like intense (she was all the time asking us to order quickly) we were a little overwhelmed. But the server Eduardo was so nice, he recommended us food and was attentive. It’s a great restaurant.

I’ve been twice and the place is really small so expect a 20-30 minute wait on weekends, but a wait well worth it. The sashimi doesn’t come in slices, it comes in fresh chunks and is very delicious. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The amount of food you get versus the price you pay is entirely in favor of the customer in my opinion.
