The pictures of there kolaches are very misleading. They look a pretty good size. I ordered a large and small. The large felt like a small half the size of shipleys and the small felt like I didn’t even have to bite the kolache… they did taste really good but the size of the kolaches were very upsetting. I also got two glazed donuts and they’re the worst I’ve tasted couldn’t even finish 1.

Donuts/ Kolaches are not fresh in the mornings. At times you are greeted then shortly afterwards there is distraction by the family's children in the shop. Several times I have had to repeat that I do not want warmed up breakfast and at times it is still warmed up. There is always a lot going on behind the counter and the customers are not given their full attention while checking out. This is the only Donut Shop on Jackrabbit and close to Owens Elementary so I can see why several people stop here.
Parking: Parking Spots are tight, too many work vehicles in the morning with trailers, makes it hard to find parking or park comfortably.

I had a wonderful experience at this shop! The owners were incredibly kind and took the time to answer all my questions. They even let me try an item on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The donuts were fluffy and the flavor on the chappel sasuage blew me away! I highly recommend!
I've been going here for years since I was a little kid and love it! Vanessa really is so sweet and they make the best doughnuts and kolaches. It's always clean in the shop and well kept with lots of options for food and drinks.
