The fish had a good flavor but most pieces were undercooked so I had to cook it longer. I guess they were about to close and rushed it. The shrimp were smaller than I expected but the flavor was good and the spicy monk rice was good. I’ll get it again just probably not an hour before they close and I’ll ask them to fry the fish harder.

Called in for an order today and the kid at the front desk LIED and said I didn’t, he also went looking in the kitchen for an order he know he forgot to put in. Had he just been honest and admitted he forgotten to put in the order I would’ve been okay but why lie to my face?

They were fast with service and the man was nice that helped me. The food was HORRIBLE though, my family came here because people were recommending it, the chicken and fish tasted like straight oil it made my stomach hurt. The" munk" rice was bad too it also tasted like oil like they put too much. They gave me 8 pieces of the big shrimp and the rest was the tiny ones, I even tried seasoning it to try the fix it but it was a lost cause.

Honestly some of the best seafood I’ve had in years. As someone whose primary food is seafood I’m very picky. The people outside are NOT harmful. They’re actually friendly. Now if this was a hood in my hometown Philly I would say (don’t do it lol) but Get anything here. The best things I had was everything on the menu haha. I haven’t had Rice in years but when I tell you their Monk fried rice is some of the best rice I’ve had in my life I’m not kidding. 10/10. I highly recommend!!!!! ?

Don't let the people hanging outside stop you from having the best fried shrimp and fried catfish I have had in years. They come served with a side of fries and a small salad of lettuce, a slice of tomato and dressing it you can double up in the fries. They sell oysters, whole wings, fried gizzards, etc. Their spicy Monk rice is very enjoyable. This is definitely worth a try if you want good food at reasonable prices.
