My friend and I came here after church since she wanted to check it out. The atmosphere is nice but the music that was being played was not. It was very loud where my head hurt and my friend and I was yelling at each other to talk. The DJ was playing ghetto/ratchet music on a Sunday!! The only customers were women in there being loud, ghetto and twerking. SMH. I can tell the quality of the people that day did not match the atmosphere of this place that Sunday. We left immediately without ordering anything as this is not the place for us. The hostess was nice and explained that management is trying to attract a certain type of crowd which is definitely not for me. Had the music been more chill and the volume turned down, for people to hear each other without yelling, I’m sure we would’ve stayed.

Ambiance pretty good for a neighborhood restaurant. Food and drinks and especially drinks a little pricey. Added to that there's a mandatory 20 percent service charge added to your bill and you're still expected to add a 20 percent tip for your server. They would get a lot more business with better pricing and without the service charge. Place was pretty empty on a Saturday night.
Food was good drinks were ok. Was thrown off by the seating. It's small inside. Also the tap water in cloudy plastic glasses was little off putting. Overall it was a good export the fees on top of the bill is crazy. 5% cc fee and not being able to see an itemized bill before paying is wild. 20% gratuity that I was told wasn't the waitress's tip.

Came on a Sunday to jam with the Choir Room (IYKYK). Can easily make reservations on OpenTable but please know there is a two hour limit to your reservation and they will keep to your limit. They wrote down our sit down time and what time we were to leave. Take that how you want Hookah- they have a great mix consisting of Love 66 & Blue Mist- get it if you're interested. Food - no complaints about what anybody ordered - from chicken wings to boudin balls, catfish basket, creamy cajun pasta with shrimp, and the lamb chops. Even though Maya is a bit small - I would definitely come back. Cute lil vibe with the girls or a date night.

Overall my experience was wonderful, the food and drinks were good. My only feedback is to provide the guest with a detailed receipt PRIOR to payment, that way it's clear what we're paying for and any discrepancies can be addressed/fixed prior to payment. And the customer service was good but a little too much, it was giving “hurry up and buy”, like they wanted us out.
This restaurant is the best restaurants you guys should try it. It so lovely

Nice vibe and the service was good as well. No complaints about the food outside of the Valentine's menu having seafood in all of the options. (Shellfish allergy). Other than that this is a dope spot. 2-0 vs the Cognac flight lol
