Man, I gotta say, my second visit to this place was a letdown. We usually grab Pupusas to go, but this time we decided to dine in. I rolled in at noon, thinking it might be crowded after church, but it wasn't. However, the service was a major bummer - I'd give it a 3 out of 10. The first time I ate there, the waitress seemed totally out of it, like she didn't even want to be there. And let's talk about the food, man. Not impressed. We asked for our eggs to be cooked medium, but they came out hard as rocks. The refried beans were a total disappointment, and the corn tamal was dry and flavorless. Overall, not a great experience, especially considering the prices they charge.

The food, service and the FOOOODDDD!! THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT! My son and I visited Mayaztecas about a year ago and fell in LOVE with the service and the food! We have since returned 6+ times (we are 25 miles away!!). We do not care how far it is...we go on Sundays when the traffic is lighter and enjoy the wonderful service and food. This place gets an A+

Had a wonderful lunch. Spices are a little different than texmex. Very warm and earthy flavors. I had the 3 Enchilada plate, my son had the fajita. They don’t do free chips and salsa but their chips and salsa are hand made. The salsa has nice thick junks of vegetables rather than just watered down pre-made bland salsa. Enjoyed lunch and will return.

So we went here after we spotted it driving by and love trying new places. 4 starts as they only had one side of the menu available \u0026 didn't say that until we started ordering which we had to pick different meal. Which was fine cause it was very very yummy would Def recommend only thing it's kinda pricey for the portions they give we paid $15 for a plate that with the size we would have paid $10 at the most. Other then that the environment was nice \u0026 food very tasty

I've aways seen this place passing by otw home so I had to at least try their takeout. Ordered: Fajita Mix- steak, chicken and 3 shrimp with rice, refried beans and 3 flour tortillas. I'd definitely order this again it was good portions. Tilapia frita- whole fried tilapia on a bed of rice and side salad. I assumed they came sided with plantains based on pictures but you must ask for plantains!!!!! Fish was greatly cooked, great crisp and still soft and flaky inside. (I will order again with plantains!!) 1 pupusa side with pickled cabbage and salsa. Had a good amount of cheese. It was iiight, it's not a Salvadorian pupusaria, you know? 1 Agua pipino limon ... IT WAS YUMMMY!!! Total-$41

Very dirty. The salt shaker looked like it was pulled out of the dumpster and placed at the table, the menus weren't that clean either.
The best mondongo soup is here, huge plate, huge flavor...... highly recommend, for me...the best.

Absolutely the best Honduran-Mexican restaurant I have been to. I love the food. The first time a came to this place was when they had just opened the restaurant, and let me tell you they just get better every year. The service is awesome, I was served by the owner and he was just great !! Very kind and always asking if we needed anything else. YOU HAVE GOT TO COME HERE. ? thank you Mayaztecas for the best experience ever. I will definitely be coming back.
