I have only been to the McIntyre’s in the Heights off of 20th so can only speak for that location. I have been to the Heights location probably close to 3-4 times now which is odd looking back that somehow I ended up there that many times. I wouldn’t say it’s a place I would seek out personally but I don’t necessarily mind going there if others want to go.
First off, the service is a bit on the slower side but I don’t think that’s the bar or bartender’s fault. The bar area is small-ish compared to the amount of patrons that occupy the space. The patrons are typically there to pound some drinks too.
It can definitely get a bit rowdy there; think overserved patrons, activities going on in the bathroom, people getting kicked out. It is unfortunate that cars being broken into in that neighborhood seems to be a regular occurrence too.
If you’re looking for a wild night out, McIntyre’s Heights might be a good choice for you. There are also some clubs and other bars within walking distance too.

With them being located around a few establishments that are highly discriminatory. I must say this establishment is not that way. I’m super thankful for my experience here. Every lady, bartender and waitress were super friendly and constantly, checked on us to make sure everything was going well. I will most certainly return if i ever want to catch a football game. From the moment I walked in, the service was friendly, fast, and made me feel right at home. The bartenders know their craft, the beer selection is wide with plenty of local options, and the cocktails are top-notch.
The food menu goes way beyond typical bar food – every dish I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing with friends. The wings, burgers, and loaded nachos are must-haves, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in quality.
Sports fans will love this place. With wall-to-wall TVs, there isn’t a bad seat in the house to catch the big game, whether it’s football, basketball, baseball, or UFC fight night. The sound and picture quality are excellent, and the atmosphere during game time is electric.
What really sets McIntyre Heights apart is how clean, welcoming, and well-run it is compared to other sports bars. It’s the perfect hangout for friends, family, or coworkers looking for a great night out.
