Great place to be. Fun and exceptional food. The owner Sonia and her staff can’t be more welcoming. Highly recommend. Oh and the Tiramisu was the best I’ve had and I’ve had some over the years, just so light and fresh. Thank you!
The food and the restaurant atmosphere are always amazing. Live music and belly dancers on Friday nights are always great entertainment. My husband and I ordered GrubHub from them tonight and our delivery driver brought us the wrong order. Long story short, after calling Mediterraneo, they personally delivered our correct order and a little something extra for the trouble. Their customer service is always impeccable and they truly went above and beyond when GrubHub refused to help. AMAZING place!!!
Excellent place, good service, good prices

They had the most authentic Greek/ Mediterranean food I have had in the US. The lentil soup and the fresh falafels/ hummus were the highlights. If you are visiting the space center, grab your lunch/ dinner here.
Called for the first time . I got called a nightmare at the end of placing my order. Because I spent almost $100? Should I have ordered only one thing and not fed my family of 4?
Do they treat customers sitting down with the same respect ? Very rude will never call again. Scared to eat there if that’s the customer service I get over the phone? How rude will they be in person for a sit down meal?

Tried the Chicken Tagine. Honest review was that it was a bit roudy but fun for a group. Guitar player was great.
The food was very good. Not like the Tagine from Morocco I'm used to, it was more similar to a stew I think but super good all the same. I will come again.

I eat here every time I come 'home' to visit my family in Houston. The ambiance is charming. The women who run the shop are kind and welcoming. The food is amazing.

Mediterraneo Market and Coffee is a cozy, inviting spot for Mediterranean cuisine, though it faces some challenges compared to similar eateries in the Houston area. It’s a smaller establishment, and given what seems to be budget constraints or a growing process, it has room to improve to match its potential. It’s worth noting that management may not come from a hospitality background, which might impact some aspects of the experience.
Locale: The dining area is comfortable and well-arranged, offering a welcoming environment to sit and enjoy a meal. Our table was clean, with a comfortable bench, and the ambiance could certainly support a more tranquil dining experience.
Cleanliness: Overall, Mediterraneo keeps up with cleanliness, though the restrooms needed considerable attention—a detail that’s worth addressing to elevate the overall experience.
The Food: While the menu offers Mediterranean staples, this is where Mediterraneo deviates a bit from similar establishments. We ordered grilled chicken, Greek salad, and rice.
The Hummus: This dish missed the mark for traditional Mediterranean flavor. It was rather flat, lacking the essential ingredients that typically make hummus stand out.
The Chicken: Nicely grilled but slightly overcooked, resulting in a drier texture. A bit
less time on the grill might have preserved more of the natural juiciness.
The Rice: Instead of the expected fragrant, long-grain variety commonly used in Mediterranean cuisine, the restaurant uses smaller grains, which, while understandable as a cost-saving measure, detracts from the dish’s quality.
Portion Size: The servings are somewhat smaller compared to other Mediterranean restaurants in the area, making them feel a bit sparse for the price.
Price: Speaking of pricing, Mediterraneo leans on the higher side, which could be a challenge given the current level of offerings and competition within the city.
Service: Our server was polite and friendly, managing a larger number of tables than typically assigned in the industry. While the attention we received was warm, the high demand on her time affected the overall service experience.
In summary, Mediterraneo Market and Coffee has some strengths, such as its inviting atmosphere, but improvements in food preparation, portion sizing, and service logistics would go a long way in enhancing the dining experience.

Great place in a little strip mall on NASA 1. Plenty of tasty menu options. Falafel was especially fresh and arrived hot and crunchy(?). Stuffed cabbage rolls were slso nice There's also a nice little grocery market inside as well as an interesting collection of art/photos. Service for the (very nice) outside patio can be slow.
