Whenever my family and I take a trip to Houston we always have to go for dinner. Great food and ambience. 2 Thumbs up

I can definitely see why it’s voted the best Chinese restaurant in Houston. Everything was so delicious & service was amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough

The atmosphere is chic and noisy. The servers are not very attentive., maybe it was slow in the kitchen. Servers gave us the wrong food and quickly came back to retreive.

Great food and consistent, great teamwork of a staff helping each other out and management. They have the system down for a flowing restaurant.

Food is consistently great, regardless of whether I order to-go or dine inside. The servers are attentive, even on nights when the restaurant is packed.

They can add more vegetarian options.
Ambience is good. Service was slow I guess because it was very busy.

Crispy on the outside, tender inside — amazing textures.

I ordered the squid ink fried rice, Sichuan tilapia, crispy tofu, and dry flat noodle stir fry with beef. Everything tasted fine, but my least favorite was the tilapia. The crispy tofu was the highlight for me with its great texture and flavor. The portions for the fried rice and dry flat noodles felt a bit small, but overall it was a nice meal with a good variety of dishes to try.

Mein has been consistently good for the years we have been coming here. The salted fish fried rice is good, the herb salmon is delicious, and my mom (a HK native) says their HK wonton noodle soup is the best in the Houston area. They generally have seating, can seat large parties, and have quick service. The waitstaff takes your order pretty quickly and the food comes out super fast. The atmosphere is nice, a little noisy, but I think people like the busy feel. The restrooms are generally clean. The only con is that the food can be overly salty sometimes, but I don't mind.
