Me and my fiancé are obsessed with this place. Our favorite dish by far is “char kwe teow” by a long shot. We literally dream about it. This time we also got the garlic eggplant and salt and pepper squid. No complaints. Staff is very attentive and food comes out pretty quick for a sit down restaurant. If I had I give it a con, it’s very loud. There’s just so many people enjoying their food. ❤️ Definitely worth a visit.

How did I not know about this place earlier?! This place is so delicious, I can't think of a single dish I didn't like that was ordered for dinner. We came here on a weekday night at 6:30 pm and it was still busy. The host was able to seat us and impressively the service was stellar considering how busy it was. The waiter along with other staff members checked on us frequently and drinks were constantly refilled. Dishes that we ordered:- Squid Ink Fried Rice (squid ink was not over powering and I love that the rice wasn't mushy)- Hand pulled Chicken (served cold, fragrant, fresh and paired well with the cilantro and onions)- Birds Nest (they've done it right, just enough sauce to balance the softness and crispiness of the noodle with the right amount of meat and veggies. This is a bit filling)- Salt & Pepper Fish (crispy and lightly breaded, balanced flavor with mushrooms and peppers making it a fantastic dish with white rice. The portion was more than enough)If you're coming here on the weekend, parking may be horrendous as they share it with other restaurants in the same plaza.

Amazing service here! I dropped my chopsticks and the server saw and automatically brought me new ones before I even had a chance to ask. They have good vegan options here. I love their shaking tofu.

We really enjoyed our family style lunch at Mein. We were able to get a table immediately, the service was friendly and the food was delicious. We did feel a bit rushed to wrap up and leave as they close temporarily in the afternoon to ready for the dinner service.

Outstanding in every way. Great food, great service. Only one complaint, and it's not their fault: parking is tough to find, especially in the evening.

A unique Chinese restaurant located in a busy corner of Chinatown, East Beltway 8 side. They serve excellent Cantonese, Sichuan, and some Thai dishes. We tried the crispy whole tilapia (Thai flavor), Sichuan garlic pork, Pad Thai, fresh garlic basil clam, and lava toast. All were very tasty, quickly prepared.Friendly staffs. Not many seats inside but very comfortable and good spacing between tables for getting in and out. Could be packed and fully occupied in the weekend or weekday dinner time.Parking lot is limited. The parking space is very tight. Your cars might get door dings after parking there (ouch!?‍?).Overall, an excellent experience with great food. Remember to plan ahead if you want to eat here.Dietary restrictions: Some dishes contains nuts and some special spices that can cause allergic for some people.Parking: Limited parking spaces in front. Tightly spaced parking. Big trucks/suvs might find it hard to get in and out.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staffs, spacious seatings for kids

My nephew and i were here for the first time and it did not disappoint! The service was FAST, FRIENDLY and SUPER ATTENTIVE! We got the Jangjangmyeon, chili oil dumplings, crushed cucumbers, noodle soup and condensed milk buns. Great atmosphere overall and we will definitely be back!

Fancy looking Cantonese restaurant with great decor. I'm used to more hole in the wall places because most nicer looking canto places are banquet hall type but very cute for a date night in Chinatown. We got some takeout so didn't get to eat things at peak freshness but still very good. The beef flat noodle is exceptional - perfectly qq rice noodles lightly seasoned and silky beef. One of the better renditions of the dish in terms of pure noodles bliss. The egg tofu dish is also very tasty, albeit a bit expensive for 6 coins of tofu. Peking pork ribs are also really good here, would definitely recommend. All in all, it's a bit diff from the rest of Chinatown but definitely worth a stop.
