The very kind lady prepared our sandwiches today during the lunch rush. There was a line and she was the only employee. She provided great service with a smile. Thank you!

I was in Houston visiting my son and daughter n law because they had just had a baby. My daughter and I went to find something to eat at the cafe and decided on pizza. The lady serving pizza was so rude to me and my daughter. Served us with attitude for no absolute reason.

Different Cashiers Charge Different Prices. No Matter What The Server Tells You Comes With The Meal.
Nasty hamburger. RUDE employees behind the grill. No help whatsoever. Seriously acted like you were imposing on their own conversations. Let them know there were no napkins anywhere, no ketchup and EVERY table was dirty. It's 3:30 in the afternoon. No one has time to clean and refill.???
Employees all seem to be in bad spirits, and it shows by the way I seen them interact with costumes. I watched one employee go off one another customer because the costumes picked a chicken basket that was burnt looking over one that was. Food is tasteless, and a lot of the sections were closed, so selections were very limited.

Ordered a pizza here for lunch on Tuesday (June 18). I ended up with a horrible case of food poisoning. I almost want to vomit every time I think about or say pizza now.

Its bad enough this hospital almost killed my grandbaby now your cashier, KAVANNA A. to be specific, has the audacity to have a nasty attitude & be rude you have the wrong people dealing with customers she didn’t greet us until I said hello how are you like wth She didn’t say thank you she didn’t even offer a freaking bag & we had three plates & drinks smdh

they have the best burgers ever. I come to the hospital just to get their burgers every week while my kids are at the babysitter. I’m not even ashamed either. I’m not even a patient. the food is just that good. If you don’t know how to follow basic instructions then don’t order here and expect to be coddled. these are hospital cafeteria workers not servers. ?

Hospitals charge the big bucks to the patients and insurance companies. I think we as a patients or family members of the patients deserve the best of the experience in all aspects during a long waiting process after a surgery. An African American was taking the order at arboretum cafe. He does not do a good job doing that simple task. I think he needs more costumer service training. No wonder why these people work here. I ordered a signature burger, then he was taking everyone’s else orders. When a lady asked me if I was ordered already, I answered yes, but the person of taking orders said I did not order anything. They asked me again and I just told the to never mind. Forget it. Not coming again to this cafe. Ever again. Bad experience in the renovated memorial Herman hospital at Fannin St. By the way, the update txt messages to let us know how the patient is recovering was delayed most of the time.

Hermorial Hermann has great teams from my doctor who performed my surgery too the housekeeping staff who change my bed sheets. The nurses were 100 percent professional, and showed me a lot of compassion for the pain I was suffering with.On a scale of 1-10, I give them 12!

Good selection of foods through lunch. Only the grill station remain open after about 2:00 pm.
