Good God Almighty! The VEGAN shroomsteak sandwich is BY FAR the best VEGAN sandwich I've ever had! The "meat" is Fable mushroom steak, which looks and tastes so much like meat I was dumbfounded. Their sesame roll is also great, nice toasty flavor. Did I mention it is VEGAN? The spicy curried couscous was also excellent, and it is also VEGAN. This is a high-calorie meal so it can't really be called a healthy option, but man is it good. If you're vegan (or not) and want something super-tasty and indulgent look no further than the shroomsteak at Mendocino Farms, you will not regret it.

AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!!!!This is a MUST TRY place in Houston. The manager Frank is AMAZING, he is very upbeat, friendly, and welcoming. The rest of the staff is super nice and friendly as well. Trying to eat healthy but would like something to satisfy your craving. Mendocino Farms is the spot. The Pink Lady Beets and Goat Salad was so delicious without the guilt. The hint of sweetness from the dried cranberries and the thinly sliced green gave this beautiful salad the added texture which also helps balance the flavor of the rich goat cheese. Let's not forget the citrus dressing that you could practically eat it alone. The wonderful salad was definitely a hit on a gorgeous sunny yet breezy day. My personal favorite was the Rose Lemonade! OMG!!! So refreshing, I wish I had a Big Gulp cup.Kid-friendliness: A section for kids to write on the chalkboard wall.

My employer had lunch catered from here and the food was delicious. I had the chicken pesto caprese sandwich. It was a nice change from what I typically order. The ciabiatta bread was soft, the mozzarella, chicken, pesto sauce, and roasted pepper had a nice flavor profile. Everything tasted fresh. I would go here on own to try other menu items.
