This place was so friendly. Ms. Faith took care of me from the time I walked in the door until I left. I was so happy with the treatment, service and the food was great. I ordered a Vegan sandwich and even received a Vegan cookie that was so good. Thank you for everything!

I love the creativity of the chef. There are some amazing combinations. My all time favorite salad is the Farmers Market Salad in Mendocino with the Goat cheese peach salad as close second. The chef is changing these specials, but I wish we can still have these options available all year long.

In the food desert that is Downtown Houston, Mendocino Farms delivers some really tasty food and drinks! The staff in downtown Houston is amazing, the restaurant is absolutely spotless. I saw them wiping down the wall behind the cooktops. Everything is pristine! The person taking my order was very nice and friendly. You can tell that everyone enjoys working with each other here. Kudos to this team. Keep up the good work and I hope you continue to do well at this location! The manager should be very proud of these employees. And no, I don’t know any of y’all. Just enjoy the food and service!!

Good food, but a bit expensive for what you get, and could use more food variety.

called to add extra dressing because for some reason it’s not on the online menu option.
By the way of the second call it sounds like I was hung up on.
Call 1, requested it and was hung up on abruptly without getting an “okay” or confirmation that it was being added (call lasted 10 seconds)
Call 2, called back to confirm stating we got disconnected the response was “well the person you spoke to added it on already” in a condescending voice
Perhaps needs better training on moral in customer service. Lack of training is a main reason I don’t return to places, and it’s sad to see that such customer service is the reason I won’t order here again.

Firstly I want to say I wasn’t an actual customer and I’m glad I wasn’t. I was interviewed here by someone named Erica who was passive aggressive and rude during the interview. I was simply looking for the lady I had spoken with over the phone and a young girl with orange hair just stared at me didn’t speak or ask if I needed help. But you “sell happy” right? Nope just a marketing tool of course. I had to repeat myself multiple times during my interview with this woman which showed me she wasn’t listening to anything I said. She would repeat what I said back but still had the information wrong. While I’m talking she yawned multiple times not even trying to make it seem like she was listening to a word I said. Truly hate I wasted my time, I’m glad I wasn’t employed with this company to have a leader like this. A good environment means nothing if this is who allowed to run the store.

Service was amazing! I ordered the spiced curried couscous (it’s served cold) and the chicken pesto sandwich. It was my first time and it was really good! Feels fresher than Panera but still standard soup and sandwich place. Really loved the outdoor seating area!

Yum! Large fresh portions filled with flavor. I ordered the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Salad, Thai Sweet Potato Soup, and the Spicy Curried Couscous. I couldn't finish it all! It was enough to feed three people. The flavor is amazingly delicious. You want to keep eating in spite of a full belly.A Minus - Global Sustainability Rating. Recycled paper bags and cardboard food packaging for the soup. The salad and couscous were in plastic containers.

Hii, just asking, does this place's name is for Mendoza, Argentina because we call the people from there Mendocinos, just asking ?
Your Sandwich Taste is so good and Atmosphere is Superb
The employees were extremely friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean. My chicken pesto sandwich tasted great, but the bread was a bit too stiff for my liking, and it scraped the roof of my mouth. Otherwise, excellent!!

Pick up order was 20 minutes late, fixed wrong (not as ordered) and the salad was only about 3/4 of the size it usually is. I know it is a busy day, but if I spend 20$ on lunch (before tip) it is not unreasonable to expect it to be made correctly and reasonably close to on time.
