2 for atmosphere bc they aren't done with construction. 1 for service because they don't have their Xhot sauce. 2 for food bc it should be called Mico's Sweet Chicken; there is so much sugar in their seasoning, it's pretty bad. Also it's just drenched in oil, like swimming in the box to where the top is crunchy and the bottom is soggy.

First time & last time here, saw all the good reviews so went to try it out. Don't understand how 2 chicken sandwiches w/ drinks came out to $50 + dollars, prices are outrageous & atmosphere is lame, we should had just gone to a real restaurant. Save your money! Thank me later.

The lady taking orders at the counter needs to announce people’s to go orders as they come out. I saw multiple people waiting a long time while there order was bagged up sitting there and they literally had to look at the bag and tell the lady hey thats my order. She did that to me too, she grabs the to go orders and just puts them to the side and forgets about them. They need a better system or someone who isn’t afraid to shout out names

We having been going to Micos since you opened. Worst experience ever today at the new location. We placed our order online, arrived at the restaurant and the order cannot be found. It took 45 mins to get served. The hostess could care less. I unfortunately provided a tip with the online order. Micos, please do better.

While the food is good this place really needs to give a warning about the heat level. We ordered medium and it was really too spicy to enjoy. It would have been really nice for them to warn us. We saw someone have to get up and asked for milk it was so spicy.

Was around the area and decided to try Mico's. I will say is the best hot chicken sandwich ive tried in the city of Houston! Definitely beats Dave's hot chicken and Urban Bird Hot chicken. I recommend giving it a try!!

Always the best, OG hot chicken spot of Houston and best loaded fries I’ve ever had anywhere. Their hot is HOT so do be careful. Banana Pudding is also amazing and can’t wait for their new brick and mortar to open up. Been a loyal customer from opening day in Galleria until now and look forward to keeping it a tradition.

I came all the way from Oklahoma, by way of Austin while visiting my daughter after seeing a commercial.let me tell yall, I was not disappointed. The first night it was delicious and because the servings were so generous I could not eat it all even though my daughter was sharing it with me. Two days later I finished the meal and the rest of the food was just as good. I had the chicken tenders with fries and the meat was juicy And the fries still tasted good to, I will be back. The food was ordered and paid for on a pad so you have no contact with the employees which was no problem. There is an area on the outside to sit and ear. They thought of everything.
I cant knock the food here, the sandwich is great with a good batter. What gives me pause is the cleanliness of the tables in the outside dining area. They are crusty and sticky, not appetizing.
2025 update: They have since solved the problem with the table cleanliness, I have therefore raised my rating to 4 stars. I have enjoyed this spot many times and would recommend to anyone looking for a no frills, casual lunch.
