The boiled shrimp is terrible. The sauce/flavor is not it. I ate about 2 shrimp then threw the rest out. Money wasted

The food was great. The chargrilled oysters were the highlight of the show. On a 1-10 rating I give this place a 9 only because the catfish could have used a little more seasoning but was still good. It’s not fancy but the atmospheres was good. The frozen drink were also good and strong. I highly recommend and I will be visiting again.

Took my dad to his favorite spot, Mike’s Seafood, to celebrate his 78th birthday. As always, everything was perfect—the food was hot, crispy, and absolutely delicious. Mike, the owner, was incredibly kind and even gave my dad some adorable shot glasses as a gift.

This location of Mike's Seafood never disappoints! The 3 piece fried catfish plate is unmatched and price point is so reasonable. The food always comes out hot and fresh. You'll even see the owner himself serving you on occasion, which is rare these days. I highly recommend!!!

I did take out on recommendation of a relative. They do not have onion rings .Portions are good size.
I liked the grilled fish better than the fried. The fried rice is more like rice pilaf..it did have a seafood taste which is different.

One of the best seafood places in town. But they need to expand. They're always packed and the parking's always full. They're just that good.

I love the house special fried rice. I think it's the best fried rice in Houston. The garlic Parmesan wings are damn good.

Excelente food. Great place to hang out. The owner himself was there to make sure everything was perfect and it was. I really recommend you to try their oysters.

My mom and I went for the first time after lots of people in my neighborhood recommended Mike’s. I wanted fried shrimp because that was one of my dad’s favorite meals, and I was thinking of him this weekend. The price for what you get is great. Mom’s two pieces of catfish were huge and crispy. Our shrimp were a good size, but they were rubbery. Don’t know whether someone in the kitchen thought “extra crispy fries” meant to overcook the shrimp or what. No table service, but I don’t mind going up to the counter to get my order. I do mind that the workers talking there don’t think about including the plasticware on the tray. I had to go back and ask for some. Also, their red sauce was barely seasoned ketchup.

It's a hole in the wall. But seafood is good. Their fried rice is a bit bland.
