My wife and I decided on this place to celebrate our anniversary. Upon arrival, the seat yourself situation was awkward. The only 2-top had empty drinks on it so we sat at a larger table. I was positioned to see inside the other dining room which is now the manager's office and wine storage. We sat for 15 minutes without receiving a menu. Nobody greeted us aside from the busboy who poured our water. We were ready to order our drinks, an appetizer, and some oysters when we heard a server say "86 oysters!" I could see the manager on her phone and eating while her customers weren't being attended to. We mutually agreed to get and up and go elsewhere. This was a second chance visit after a questionable first experience. We really wanted this place to be great but they got two chances and blew it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Millie's. We came for brunch and had an amazing time. Here's what we ordered, all of which was awesome:

- Best Eva Chowder
- BLT Omelet
- Arugula Omelet

The clam chowder was your classic chowder and I couldn't have asked for more there.

The BLT Omelet had this delicious sauce that brought all the ingredients together.

The Arugula Omelet similarly had such a moisture to it, which made the medley of vegetables work in unison. May have been the way they sautéed the onions or mushrooms but I devoured it before I could give it too much more thought.

Will definitely be back again soon!

I used to visit my grandparents in New England as a child & learned at a young age what “real” fish & chips is. I did a little research and found this gem. Their fish & chips are the closest to traditional New England style. I ordered the two piece and quickly realized one would be plenty as their portion is quite large. It heated up nice later though.

Terribly understaffed! Long waits for drinks.
Be careful with whiskey prices off the menu. Makers Mark was listed for $11 and they charged $17 for a Makers and Coke. I questioned the bar tender and she explained that the $11 is for just a shot! REALLY?!?!

First time visiting this place today. I was very impressed with the awesome service as everyone works as a team to assist the guests. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. Nice, cozy little place to hang out and have a few drinks.

Missed the mark and underwhelming. The only redeeming quality was the staff. David did a great job as our server with his attention, giving us space when needed, and knowledge of the menu. The food is not worth the price, didn't have much flavor, and was poorly constructed. I don't plan on going back but you should go and form your own opinion. It had a good rotation of people coming through and seems very kid friendly. There was also someone sitting on the patio with their dog and the staff was cool about it (brought out a water bowl).
Just wish the food was better.

We ordered:
-Lobster hushpuppies
•Delicious as heck! The taste was so good and creamy in a good way, the caviar on top was so good! Would def order again!
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
-Texas Rueben Sandwich w/ Mac and Cheese •The texas Rueben was tasty, the bread was perfect texture and it almost melted in your mouth, and it was very filling ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ However the Mac and Cheese was more on the bland side but had a nice texture ( ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ )
-Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl
•The Poke bowl was a nice twist to your traditional poke, it was savory and tangy, BUT if you’re looking for your traditional poke i would suggest another place. It comes with a sriracha aioli, which had a little bit of a kick but overall felt a little misplaced for the dish, but still enjoyable ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆

Parking: Parking is a little hard. The lot Millie’s has is a little small, we went on a Tuesday night, and their parking lot was a full, with cars parking behind cars. There is a business next door with more parking as well but unsure if you’re allowed to park there.

Kid-friendliness: There was kids there and an outdoor patio for families.

I love dining at Millie’s to grab a bite and let the kiddos play on their little patio play area. The food and drinks are always a hit. You definitely need to start your meal with an appetizer of fried pickles or potato balls!

My only caution is that during the dinner time rush it can be difficult to get consistent service from the waitstaff, which can be tricky with impatient and hungry children.

Great family friendly spot for decently priced and well prepared seafood in the neighborhood. The Millie's crab balls were a pleasant and delicious surprise! But the best part was the very helpful and pleasant staff. Look forward to coming there soon!
