I wish I took pictures of the food we got but it was too good for me to stop. Their fried Cajun elote was my favorite! This was the perfect harmony between Cajun and street elote. Also ordered some fried fish that I was seasoned so perfectly! Can’t wait to try more stuff from their menu.

The food was amazing. I had the new boudin balls. With Mac and cheese I also ordered yams and greens to try. Everything was flavorful. The boudin balls were PERFECTLY cooked! Just enough seasoning yet not too much to make it salty. I will be returning 🔥

Just DoorDashed a plate from this restaurant and was super excited because the food looked DELICIOUS! I was unfortunately disappointed after actually taste it, the Mac and cheese didn’t taste like cheese at all & had an aftertaste of something Bar-B-Q-y?? The dirty rice was heavily salted and almost tasted a little burnt.. the chicken seemed freshly made because it was steamy after a 20 min drive so kiddos for that but there wasn’t much flavor on these. The cornbread tasted like it’d been in a freezer for too long, and was pretty dry. The Cajun elotes lack spice and is definitely frozen corn.
The idea is definitely there but the flavors of everything definitely don’t complement each other.

Ordered the wings with Mac & yams, & I added greens & cornbread. Everything was soooo good!!! Love the Cajun flare they put on the Mac!! This was my first time ordering & I did DoorDash which is always hit or miss but everything was great. I will be ordering again!
Amazing service & great eats!!! If you’re in need of a real meal even late night definitely order. The greens are so good!!

I literally just finished my plate from Mimi’s as I’m typing this. I was hungry, so yes I finished it because I paid $40 for this plate and my man’s plate. But it was not at all worth the $22 this plate alone cost. The plate comes with 3 small-medium pieces of fish that really aren’t that great. I’m a true southern girl and I love good fried fish, this was very mediocre. Also, the “seasoned rice” on the menu is just plain white rice which is a little deceiving. This plate just was not worth a whole $22, I’m so tired of black spots charging an arm and a leg for mediocracy. I love supporting black spots but I won’t be wasting money here again.
