Poorly trained staff is the hallmark of this particular location (Westheimer & Fountainview). This is such a unique location in a bad way. It is absolutely the worst Minuti I’ve been to, and I have patronized the coffee shop since 2010, although at other locations. Granted it is unique as it is located in a very urban area adjacent to a bus stop and with homelessness and mentally ill creating unique challenges. Despite the challenges, a properly trained staff would help.

It provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the staff are both professional and friendly, especially Miss Mariangela, who stands out for her excellent service. Ordered oat milk in my latte and was charged $1.50 up charge for oat milk. I asked the barista to repeat what I was being charged for and she told me clearly $1.50 for oat milk making my latte nearly $6.50 for the medium size. I have boycotted Starbucks for a long time, but I do remember and double checked that they charge $.70 for oat milk. I have another regular local coffee shop in my neighborhood and they charge $.50. Why are they charging so much for oat milk at this place? I would love to support them, but this is just too expensive. And there’s no justification for this. Just plain outrageous.
