First time trying this spot, normally I will go to mikkis, the food and service was good, portions were too small for a 20.00 plate, 20.00 plates at other soul food places I'm able to eat on the next day, but this was gone In 10 minutes

I really wanted to enjoy this place and not listen to the reviews, but it’s bad. They gave me the tiniest piece of garlic bread, the yams were hard, the red beans and rice was hard and dry, the Mac tasted watery, the lady rushed us to take our order, and it smelled like there was a sewage problem in there.

Eating here for the first time. Enjoyed everything we had. The collard greens were some of the tastiest. Fried catfish was moist and delicious. Pretty much all the sides we had were yummy and seasoned well. Service was with a smile and efficient. Even had dessert, butter cream cake, yummy 😋. This place is cute, just clean and comfortable. Dine-in or take out. Bonus, nice chill music in the background.

Me n my bestfriend door dashed some food here n what her movies n everything was great . I will be coming here again next Sunday .

They sold us day old wings. They tried to throw them back in the fryer but couldn't leave the.long because the grease is old and is making all of the fried food appear dark. The wings were terrible. I do not recommend. $34 for 2 orders of wings and a lemonade tea. They should be ashamed of themselves

My husband and I were taking a trip down memory lane where we both lived in our own separate apartments on W Bellfort when we decided to stop here, it wasn't there back in the early 90's but is there now and we're elated it also a very good place to eat. Can't wait to return!!!

Food is great. Prices are fair and not over priced. I'm comfortable enough to have introduced several people to this restaurant. Owners are very down to earth and kind. Restaurant is clean. They play the best music! I'm there almost weekly. Let's keep this restaurant in business.
