I am not the one to post negatively, but I encountered such a horrible experience here. Walked in place looked dirty, no presentation, I almost slipped there was no safety mats on the floor. Spoke to manager Jorge who was very rude and mentioned if he spent more than 3 minutes talking to me the owners would write him up. I couldn’t even get what I wanted to say across before he asked me to leave the building. I then said are you the GM? Because he was acting like he had seniority according to his 41 years with the restaurant 🤣 Anyways it didn’t smell like your typical yummy Mexican food restaurant when you walked in. From the outside the restaurant looks rough, Jorge was very rude. I will not recommend to anyone nor will I return!

You have to check out this spot for happy hours or a casual lunch. The food is incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned, offering excellent taste for the price. I highly recommend stopping by, even if it's just for a quick bite — the delicious flavors will leave you satisfied.

Everything was excellent. We got the beef fahita for 2, soft drinks, and of course a large queso. Including tip we spent $96 and it was worth it. The beef almost melted in my mouth, it was so tender.

Whenever I have to take my car to Christian Brothers to get worked on I walk to Molina's and I have a meal and enjoy myself while I wait for my car. It's a very nice place to take friends and family as well.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Tex-Mex Institution You Can’t Copy Molina’s Cantina Westheimer has been serving authentic Tex-Mex for over 80 years, and it’s easy to see why. The house margarita is legendary — truly one of the best in Texas. Many have tried to copy the original salsa and the iconic Jose’s Dip, but nothing comes close. The dedication shows: some staff have been here 40–50+ years! Last night I had the Bubba de Tejas Hambergueso con Queso, and it was absolutely over the top — possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. A true Texas classic.

I want to recognize Jasmine, the manager at Molina’s Mexican Restaurant on Westheimer, for doing an outstanding job.

One thing that really stands out is the consistency — the food is always excellent, and I’ve never had an issue. That kind of reliability says a lot about how well the restaurant is managed. On top of that, Jasmine is always so welcoming. It’s genuinely nice to walk in and be greeted with her friendly attitude and warm smile every time.

You can tell she truly cares about both the guests and the overall experience. Her presence makes a difference, and it shows in how smoothly everything runs.

Great food, great service, and great leadership. Molina’s on Westheimer continues to be a favorite because of it.

Best TexMex in town. Ricky was our server and he was delightful! Made us tea to go and a special treat of Mexican candy to take home. We live in Katy, but next time we want TexMex we will make the trip here for the real deal!!

Lunch specials were a good choice for my first time visit large portion and about average on price but the portion size made me ask for a Togo box.

Amazing food, if you haven’t already tried the Jose’s Dip you are missing out. So tasty and worth the price

This was my first time here, and it definitely did not disappoint me! The service was great, and the food was amazing! I had beef and chicken fajitas, rice, beans, and tortillas! Everything was hot, fresh, and tasted delicious! I would highly recommend this place! I will definitely be back.

Got takeout. Food was great, to go margaritas were awesome. But got home and noticed they didn't give us any salsa to go with our chips. This was disappointing and reason for 4/5 stars.

When I walked in no one was at the front to seat people and the bartender just stared at me. After several minutes a lady appeared. You could barely read the menu because it was old, cloudy and had been colored on with crayon. Chips and three types of salsa were served, and unfortunately every single salsa was spicy. I had the C.W. Special and everything was really good except for the beans (especially the cheese in the enchilada, the al pastor meat and the rice).

This place has been around for a long time. I am surprised they have not sold the real estate

Food is tasty and plentiful. They keep the chips flowing. The prices are reasonable

Service is outstanding. Thank you
