We had a great lunch on the patio here with our pup. Everyone on the team was so nice and attentive, and we loved the mix of chef’s specials and Vietnamese classics. The claypot fish with Brussels sprouts was a particular highlight.

Julie was the best! so sweet and knowledgeable, we loved how she described dishes/their origins and she made fantastic recommendations for us. We never had to wait long for service, and she did an incredible job of being attentive without tipping into overbearing, which we appreciated so much. I had the Bun Bo Hue and a White Rabbit cocktail (her recommendation) and everything was heavenly. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Moon Rabbit in the Houston Heights has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. I always try to support neighborhood businesses, and this place makes it so easy to love. The food is amazing -fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious every time I go. You can really tell how much care goes into every dish.
The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and there's a real family feel from the moment you walk in. It's the kind of place where they remember you, make you feel at home, and genuinely appreciate your support.
If you love great food, warm service, and supporting local gems, definitely add to your list. It's a true Heights treasure!
Ps. No photos because I always eat everything before I even remember to take one.

Really need to install shades on the windows facing 19th street. The sun is intense and I was so hot.

Everything here is so amazing! The bone marrow and veggie eggrolls and shaken beef is my favorite. No frills just great food and service
I was super excited to order from this restaurant to taste the food before I went here on date night. Very happy I did because I was super let down. I ordered the Pho Tai Chinh which actually happened To be really good and very flavorful I was even impressed by the packaging it came in. The real issue was the beef shank Bahn Mi I ordered.. although it appeared really good once I opened the sandwich I saw that I was given mostly chunks of fat instead of actual meat. I did try to eat it, but unfortunately, due to overwhelming amount of fat was unable to stomach the sandwich and threw it away to avoid a stomach ache.
I feel like I wasted my money so I will not be eating at this restaurant in person, but I do highly suggest for anyone who decides to not get that bahn mi.

Justin is the best waiter. The egg rolls were seasoned well. The sauce on the cucumber salad was tangy and slightly sweet and spicy, very unique. The bread was really soft on the lemon grass pork sandwich and the meat had a great flavor. We will definitely be back to try some other items!

The Salt and Pepper Squid and the The Miso Claypot Fish are not to be missed. Amazing food! 10/10 flavor combos & balancing. Drinks are also very good.

Hana is an amazing server! My “El Tigre” drink was so refreshing and slightly peppery, tasted like a lovely green tomato garden. Our favorite dish was the bone marrow. Love it! Pho broth was amazing. Would love the pork belly more if it was crunchy instead of stewed. Will definitely be back 💖

This is a great little neighborhood place that has very friendly staff and they make really Cool and Unique specialty drinks… And the Shaking Beef is so good. The portion is big enough to share for two girls and the Vietnamese Eggrolls are so yummy and they put all the fixings on there. Unlike some other places that just throw a couple of the eggrolls on a plate this has the mint, the cilantro, the shredded carrot and the lettuce…so good. And today we tried the Me So Corny & the Moon Rabbit for drinks. And my sister got a very delicious mai tai that they made from scratch. That’s what’s in the picture. The drinks were very unique and were enjoyable. So it was an all-around great experience and definitely worth checking out. That was my third time there and they have not disappointed. It has been consistent and yummy all three times!
