This is one of our favorite places for a date night so I was a bit surprised at how poor the night went. The neighboring table had a waitress that felt the need to speak with the customers in her loudest voice from the other side of our table as she walked down the aisle, to the point that it interrupted our conversations. Morton's was my favorite restaurant. The food and service were always impeccable. Last night the food and service were at best mediocre. I ordered a wagyu top sirloin steak medium rare and it came out very rare as in dark red raw. I sent it back for a little more doneness and it came back the same. I did not send it back again but could not eat it. The service attention was very slow for water refills and I had to ask for a refill on my diet coke. Never had this experience...
