This restaurant really makes you feel like you’re in Lebanon the food is always fresh and delicious, and I’ve never had a bad experience. I highly recommend the mixed grill and the beef shawarma tawouk sandwich. They’re also a butcher, so I often pick up their frozen burgers and tenders to make at home perfect for days I don’t feel like cooking. One thing they could improve on is their extra sauce policy; since we come here often and usually order a lot, it would be nice if they were more generous with sauce instead of charging for extras. Other than that, it’s a fantastic spot with amazing food.

My mom and I had lunch here and we absolutely loved it. Everything is made fresh and is taste amazing. I used to go to Phoenicia since the age of 4 for and finally have found a shawarma as good or better. Very authentic and the butcher shop has amazing halal fresh meat.

Food was okay, service wasn’t good, no one greets you when you come in or when you leave, but the restaurant was clean and good atmosphere

We visited Mousa as a group of three. The restaurant has an authentic Lebanese setup, including a butcher shop inside. Ordering is done at the register and food is brought to your table. The place itself was clean and the food quality was good.
That said, the overall experience was disappointing for the price. Meals averaged around $25 per person. I ordered a beef kebab platter and the portion size was noticeably small and was not worth the price. Another friend ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich with one skewer of shish kebab.
When his food arrived, it came without garlic sauce. When he asked the staff if he could get some, he was told he would need to go back to the register and pay $1 for it. This was surprising and honestly felt a bit insulting, especially considering we had already spent close to $75 total and left a good tip at the register when ordering.
The portion sizes and customer service approach left a bad impression. Charging extra for something as basic as garlic sauce—especially in a Lebanese restaurant—after a full-priced order doesn’t feel like good hospitality.
Overall, Good food, but overpriced and the customer service felt cheap. Not a great way to do business.

I was there with my friend, who’s been coming to this place for a long time, and we were both shocked by the quality of the food we were served. It was clearly not fresh, and my friend ended up with food poisoning, which is completely unacceptable. Watching that happen was enough to make sure neither of us will ever come back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

I’ve been coming to this place for a long time, which makes it even more unbelievable that they served me non fresh food that caused food poisoning. The food tasted off and should never have been served, showing a complete lack of care for basic food safety. I won’t be returning, and I strongly warn others before risking getting sick here

I spend almost $80 and they sell you cold shawarma without heating the meat and literally with no sauce inside , they need to learn how to make a shawarma, shawarma needs to be hot inside and has good amount of sauce , I will pay money to eat so better to at least serve me well, but every time i come in they sell me a cold beef shawarma with no sauce inside , hope they learn from there mistakes and improve , because this is not right people work hard for there money and come with families not be served cold old food

The best halal butcher shop in Houston. You can come here and get dry ages steaks and prime cuts from Moussa himself! He also uses a giant knife here that is more than 100 years old. The grill is also amazing!
