i graduated in 1988. mr hoagies was the bomb back then. Nothing has changed except the neighborhood becoming the hood. Same great hard working owner. I remember his kid doing their homework there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! JALAPENO CHEESE STEAK ROCKS! WORTH THE DRIVE :)

I’ve been a foodie fan of Mr. hoagies all the way back since 1992. This place is a hidden gem but us locals know its one of the best local mom and pop sandwich shops around. Everything on the menu here is fresh and flavorful. The pepperoni cheesesteak hoagie has always been one of my faves, and I will drive out of my way just to get it. The same owner has been here for all of these years. He’s always been very kind and Ive always enjoyed being a patron.
Back in my hometown in Virginia there was a sub shop called Zeros that was my favorite place to go. Mr Hoagie is the first time in decades I’ve had that matches it. I highly recommend this place.
