MytiBurger is like stepping back in time to 1967. The vibe feels original and retro in the best way. The ordering system is fun (they give you a playing card and call it out when your food’s ready), and the staff are incredibly friendly, especially with their regulars, who they treat like family. The burgers and fries taste more like something you’d get at a backyard cookout than a modern gourmet spot, but that’s part of the charm. Not the best burger in Houston, but definitely...
Mytiburger is an authentic old school burger restaurant open since 1967. It’s definitely worth a visit for the excellent burgers, fries, and fried pickles or the great breakfast selection (try the hash brown patty too). I gave the “Atmosphere” five stars just because of the authenticity and the great vintage photos of Houston on the wall. Every time I’ve been there it’s been an excellent experience and the staff is super friendly.
Childhood favorite
Lived on the street behind Mytiburger and my family went weekly on Sundays. The food is still just as good 20ish years later. Shakes, chicken stripe & burgers are our staple!
